Terrible experience! Booked the rage room for 2 online for Saturday 8/3. Rookie mode you're supposed to get 15 small items, 3 medium items and 1 large item (see photo from their website.) Upon arrival, the place looks nothing like their website. It's super dark inside, weird lounge vibes. Once you check in, they bring you to a room and just say here's some headgear, gloves and orange suit if you want to wear it. No waivers to sign or anything. We ended up only getting 2 large items, 1 small tv and 2 keyboards nowhere near close to what their website says. Their website also says you can bring your own playlist and connect to their speakers - wrong. When we asked about this the guy just pointed to their speakers overhead and said there's already music. You can't hear this music in that room so guess what? You get to rage in silence. We tried to enjoy it but it just was not it. Within minutes we're sweating and uncomfortable because On this particular day it was ridiculously hot inside and the guy up front just said "our AC is undergoing maintenance " the owner or manager could've warned people that had booked or simply not allowed any bookings at all considering the hot temperatures. We left before the 30 minutes was up because it was uncomfortable, hot and who wants to break stuff without music?!

Not worth $70 per person! The person upfront on 8/3 couldn't care less he was just like "shrug" okay. Do not recommend to anyone...

My wife and I came here on a weekend for an hour of axe throwing. I had previously done it in the loop in Chicago. While the staff member was friendly, he spent at most 5 min showing us how to throw the axe and then play the various projected-based games. Much like some other reviews:

The axes weren't in the best of shape. Tape was peeling off the handles. The edges were quite dull.

It was very dark in the entire establishment.

The projector screen light intensity was so faint, it was hard to see and read things.

We had to interface with a keyboard and touchpad to track the games, scores, etc.

The wooden board we had appeared to be quite worn out and chipped away.

It was really, really warm in the building (July). The staff member was kind enough to offer us a cold beverage at no cost since we'd previously requested if he could crank up the a/c.

This was only my second time doing axe throwing, but I remember the place in the loop spent a lot of time on safety, proper throwing technique, and also had their venue well illuminated. Another couple next to us on this day also appeared to struggle to have their axe stay lodged in the wooden target board. Either my wife and I, and this other couple, just were 100% newbies . . . or, the quality of the axes and wooden target boards needed some fixing. Overall, I would not choose to...

We were looking for a place to hang out blow some steam have a good time when entering the place the place was dark and smell of old mildew was in the air after completing a couple of practice throws I asked one of the 2 gentleman working that day can they turn in the air a fan something as it was just tooooo hot in there they claimed air was on we proceeded to start activity AX throwing after one round asked again about air and mentioned it’s hard to breathe in here one employee directed me to stand under what was supposed to be air and what was hot air told him that and still nothing now after 3 rounds now we are all hot sweating and needing to go outside just to breathe sweat running down our faces back and still nothing was done to accommodate which made my experience a very bad one no one completed our rounds because standing outside felt better than being inside Throwing an AX what a waste of time and more importantly MONEY as this place didn’t deliver what it was supposed to give so if your looking for a sauna bath , running makeup , thick, unbreathable air , and want to spend money and not get what you’re paying for this is the place for you just a completely...

At first, I was skeptical about everything because the pricing on the phone, I was told that it’s 70 per person and it quickly changed, but I was also told that you cannot go by yourself after I got there we ended up talking it out and we came up with an agreement. The experience was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place and the new management JJ is doing a wonderful job at the place, after my experience. I was offered a refreshment cold water and we all talked for a little bit because they can tell I was going through something And honestly, I would 110% come back to this place just by our caring the new management is. They also offered me extra TVs…🤫 The bathrooms were really clean and the place overall the rooms were nicely set up beforehand obviously and as soon as I got done, someone went and cleaned it right away, so I’d say that’s a green checkmark in my books. But overall 10, out of 10 recommend

We, a party of 3, did a 30-minute rage room for 70$ per person, which was a bit expensive but understandable. The room itself was small and hadn't been cleaned from the night before. It had multiple broken flat screen TVs, among other items pilled up against the wall (As seen in the photos). This wasn't a huge problem, but with the size of the room, it proved a bit hard for us to move out of the way of others and I myself slipped a few times with the screen on the floor. Caleb, amazing host by the way, he did let us know that they were out of medium-sized items but gave us more bottles on top of the large items. Other than that, it was amazing and fulfilling! Would absolutely do it again! Our party definitely needed it and was glad that Axe Zone was able to provide!
