On our visit to the River walk, we wanted to tour Millennium Carillon; one of the largest Carillons in the world. Unfortunately, guided tour of the Bell Tower is the only possible way, should you wish to behold Chicago Skyline from its observation deck provided the sky is clear. • Do keep this in mind & pre-book a guided tour to the tower. • $3 for ages 5+. • Use an Elevator to the top in case you can’t use the stairs. • Multiple Bells(72) in the Tower are played at certain time during the day. All I could bag was tons of pretty pictures in my phone gallery. #Downtown

While this is officially supposed to be called the "Moser Tower and Millennium Carillon," everyone just calls it the Millennium Carillon. For $3 during the summer, you can take the tour, climbing the 253 steps to the top to see the Carillon and check out the views of Rotary Hill and Naperville. It is amazing to watch the carillon being played. See the photos. Beautiful place. Inexpensive. Wonderful views.

On Thanksgiving morning, I took a walk along the Riverwalk from my hotel and found this. There is a sign explaining the purpose and construction. It was closed but there was a place to buy tickets and you could go up to the top. I saw stairs and elevators. The general area outside was nice and well kept. It was a beautiful and crisp morning and quite peaceful.

went on the 12:30 tour and loved the experiance. we had a large tour group filled with both younger and older people.

Our Tour guide Emily did a great job of making sure we all stayed together and giving us facts about the tower,Carillons, Naperville , and the sights we could see from atop the tower.

the tour was well paced. i was able to walk the 253 stairs without feeling rushed or out of breath (plenty of benches if you needed to rest)

if you can't walk up stairs just be aware you won't be able to reach the top of the tower. The elevator stops short of the top of the tower but you will be able to see views from a lower...

Okay hear me out. If you also have a slug in your brain, I have a theory. The dandelion fountain slugs have an ultimate goal. They speak to me, urging me to climb to the top of this building. I am sure that you are experiencing this too. YOU MUST RESIST! I am positive that once we have come to the tippy top; the slugs will have us drop to the ground.
