Read moreBeautiful my husband knows how much I lOvEe trails, getting my steps for the day (11,000 base steps) and exploring new outdoor spaces. So while waiting for out order to be cooked and ready at Lou Malnati's Pizzeria we drove over to the park and took a nice walk until our alarm let us know that it was time to start heading back for the food. We walked down by the water and my little baby (he's 4 now and if he could read he'd say "I'm a big boy not a baby mommy."🤣😂😁) loved that part the most and of course wanted to go swimming 🙄🤦🏾♀️. We actually plan on going back soon to complete the entire Riverwalk, and my husband and I want to rent the peddle boats and go for a date ❤💖👩❤️💋👨🚣🏽♂️. I can expect that with Illinois opening back up fully today that it'll be CROWDED especially on weekends but to avoid crowds with our kiddos we START trails at 4p to 6p when most people are heading back...
Read moreWe stayed at the Embassy Suite by Hilton in naperville. The river walk waz about 3.5 miles from the hotel (15$ by taxi). We did the walk twice, once going by tax and the other a long walk there and back from the hotel of about 10 miles.
You can either walk alongside the narrow path on the river bank or the side of the river.. there are a number of bridges to cross from one side to the other. The river flow down towards downtown naperville.
It a nice walk with lots of other people doing the same thing or running.
Once you finish you end up in the shopping area and there are some really good restaurant and cafes for you to to get some refreshments.
