We have been wanting to try Limon for months, and finally made it there today for apps and wine. The inside bar was quiet but it was a beautiful day and we wanted to sit outside so we waited for the hostess. We only waited about 5 minutes but the confusion between the hostess and who we thought was the GM was almost comical. We were finally shown to our table where we sat for close to 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us - despite the fact that the same server checked on the tables on either side of us.
The GM finally came to our table and introduced herself as the “Assistant Director” (of something) and said she’d be taking care of us. We ordered 2 glasses of wine, 3 small plates to share, and water. It was probably another 10 minutes before we got water and then another 10 before we got wine.
Shortly thereafter we got one of the appetizers. The Assistant Director put the plate in the center of the table and seemed pleased with herself. I asked if we could get individual plates. We decided to go ahead and eat off the same plate while the food was hot. The small plates came after we finished.
When the other two appetizers were delivered only one was correct. The Director seemed stumped but took the plate away to figure things out. Another person finally brought the right one, but there was no sauce. When we asked about the sauce, the response was, “I don’t know… this is what the chef gave me.” By this time we were an hour into the “experience.” The water was empty and the wine was empty, but no one seemed to care about either.
As people who have roots in hospitality, we understand being understaffed and getting slammed. We also understand working out the wrinkles in a new place. As locals who live here all year (literally we live 13 minutes away), we aren’t likely to return. It’s been months since Limon opened and they are the antithesis of hospitality. Not because of the long wait or the incorrect food or even that no one returned to see if we needed another drink, but because of their terrible attitude. Not a single employee we encountered seemed to know the meaning of the word hospitality - and worse yet… no one seemed to care.
The fish stinks from the head, so it isn’t likely that the management cares either. (We’d expect more from Marriott, though.) To anyone considering this place, there are so many other amazing restaurants and bars in Naples that will make you feel welcome, don’t waste your time and money...

I rarely leave reviews, especially negative ones, but our experience at Limon was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to share it—both for future guests and hopefully for the management to reflect on their service standards.
I booked a table for six—our group included two food & beverage managers, a guest services director, a front desk supervisor, a valet, and a head concierge. All of us work in hospitality, so we understand the pressures of the industry and generally have a lot of empathy. That said, what we experienced here was unacceptable by any standard.
We were seated and ordered a couple of bottles of water while waiting for one last guest. Once we were all present, we placed our full food and drink order. It took 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, and over 40 minutes for the food. Only five of six meals arrived, along with cold fries. The server acknowledged the missing dish and went to check on it—but didn’t return. After 20 minutes, one of us went inside to follow up, and a non-uniformed staff member eventually brought the last dish. We didn’t see our server again for 30 minutes.
Once we finished eating, we asked for a box and ordered four desserts, requesting one be comped due to the hour-long delay our friend experienced. The server agreed, but only two desserts arrived, delivered by a food runner. We had to chase down the remaining two, one of which (an affogato) arrived without espresso. When the server finally reappeared, we let him know. He apologized and brought the espresso—but by then, the damage was done.
The service was disorganized and disengaged. Our server lacked basic communication, and there appeared to be no coordination between staff. Food was cold, wait times were excessive, and orders came out incomplete. As hospitality professionals, we understand that mistakes happen—but what matters is how they’re handled. In this case, there was no ownership or effort to make things right.
We didn’t want to let it ruin our evening, but it did dampen the mood. Management needs to take a serious look at training, communication, and accountability if they want to meet even basic...
Read moreCame here while on a stay for my birthday and planned to be there for dinner since it was New Year’s Eve. Had lunch here since the hotel would not check me in early and decided I’ll eat and drink while waiting. Got seated fast and looked pretty as well. After some wait was told only one waiter was working there and eventually after waiting more they came and offered water. I tried to order drinks and food since I had plenty of time waiting to know what I wanted and was told the food I wanted they didn’t have as well as they couldn’t make any of their specialty drinks as they was out of the ingredients needed. I then got water and ordered a chicken sandwich since I just was whatever about it. I then got the food and the chicken was seriously not seasoned well and very subpar. The potatoes it came with was amazing I will say that.
Then I made the horrible mistake of coming back here for dinner…. To start they didn’t give me or my date a drink when we walked in even on my birthday with reservations and I see some others was given champagne when walking in. I was seated and given the “special menu” we’ll let me tell you it was not good. I ordered a salad as an app as they had not good choices at 150$ each and I regret not taking a picture to show. Ordered one of the drinks they had we can choose from and it was horribly made and imbalanced it was Vodka raspberry lemon juice and sugar tasted like straight lemon juice. My date ordered a drink and didn’t drink hers as well. I then ordered a dirty martini which was not good also and almost tasted watered down. Then we ordered the main meal I ordered the steak option my date the triple tail fish option. I ordered it medium rare it came to me well done as well as the broccolini wasn’t even steamed or cooked. My dates food the fish was so over cooked it was extremely dry and just not good. The desert was good I will say that was literally the only good thing about the entire time. Honestly worst letdown ever and it was my birthday to top it off lol. Ty for the birthday meal I won’t...
