If I could I wouldn't even give this place one star!!! Unfortunately I have to in order to have this review up on this website. My fiance and I called for assistance and the way we were spoken to was COMPLETLEY disrespectful and out of context. We were asking for financial help as we are going through a bit of a rough patch and the women we spoke to was COMPLETELY rude and stated the kind of assistance we needed NO ONE in the area helps with. As I know this is absolutely false as we have gotten assistance in this area for the same thing we were calling for. I am absolutely ashamed of this agency as YOU are supposed to be there to help others! Not make them feel afraid to ask for help as that is what I thought the soup kitchen is supposed to be there for. It's so sad in todays day in age how people from agencies like this can treat other's!!!! Your supposed to be there to WANT to help others in a financial hard spot. Not make them feel worse then they already do in the situation they are already in. Or make them feel stupid for SIMPLY asking a question. So disappointed in the way we were treated today and I will NEVER...

They restrict access to cleaning supplies as they consider it a liability and openly stated that if the clients had unrestricted access to the cleaning supplies, they would "rob them blind". There are no programs in place to help clients find and obtain housing. Case managers rarely help you obtain benefits or enroll in programs that clients qualify for. In my time there, I saw 58 families come and go with only 7 actually being assisted in finding adequate housing. This place needs a total overhaul and proper training starting with the housing director and working...
