My experience is totally different from what I see others are saying about the employees. (Unsatisfied)! I was at the store yesterday wanted to purchase a new foundation. I am changing from the one that I have Urban Decay (shade 11.0) to a little lighter shade as I see is making my face a little darker but wanted to buy from a different brand. But the staff there seems TO BE IN A RUSH, as she keep reiterating “I can’t be with you for more than 15 mins”, my husband and I asked her why not?, her excuse was “am the only one on the floor, the other staffs went on break”. She suggested 3 different brands for me to try at the beginning as am changing from the one am used to before (UD, 11.0), but I ended up trying ONLY 2 out of 3 and she keep pushing me to choose from the 2 I tried which am not satisfied with the shades. I only took one of it because am traveling and I don’t know if I will be able to go back to try different one DEFINITELY WITH A DIFFERENT STAFF NOT HER cos I clearly know and understand that she don’t know how to treat Customers well. Oh yeah, and the concealer part cos I need one as mine has finished, when I ask her to suggest a good one that I will be able to use with the foundation she suggested; she was like “you can get any one you want it will work with it”, my husband was like; “So the shades does not matter at all” and she said, “yes”. We just have to make the purchase with a hasty suggestion but I was not feeling any kind of satisfaction about the whole thing like I was excited to get something new when I entered the store. I’ve been to this Sephora several times looking for help with skincare, but never felt that my questions were answered or felt confident enough in a product to really invest. Until Serena helped me. She asked questions, listened, and assessed my skin. She really felt that I’d benefit from a hydro facial that can be done right in the store for only $60. I had no intention of getting a facial when I walked into the store, and in fact, I’d never had one before. But I was very excited. Serena explained the entire process while she carefully sanitized everything. We had pleasant conversation and she checked in with me frequently. I’ll spare you the disgusting details, but I cannot believe how much came out of my face. I looked 5 years younger INSTANTLY. I’ve never seen instant results like that in skincare. When I went home, even my husband noticed and commented that my pores looked “20 times smaller.” And they did. She also went through aftercare with me.
After my facial, she put together a great skincare routine for me based on my skin’s needs that were full of quality products. I left with a ton of stuff and I couldn’t be more excited to use it all.
After THAT, she helped me pick out other makeup products and informed me that I would do best with a winter palette (which completelyyy changed the game for me). We picked out products around that, and She couldn’t have been more right.

   Read moreMy father had just passed away. The only reason I was in the mall in the first place was to buy clothes for his funeral. We had finished doing just that a few stores down when my husband convinced me to go in to Sephora. He remembered me mentioning getting a little low on my night cream. I only agreed because it was the first day of the VIB sale and I had wanted to get my brother something for his dry skin. I walked in and everyone was so incredibly nice and welcoming. I grabbed my night cream, tried to get something for my mother in law (sold out instore but that's ok, I got it online), and had someone very kind help us pick out an oil for my brother. She was there for Lord Jones that day as a rep I think but she was so helpful and knowledgeable about other products too. She even gave us samples, not only for my brother to try, but for me and my husband as well. She completely did not have to do that but I am still thankful for the gesture. Everyone was just doing their jobs and they could not have known I was close to breaking down from my loss, but I felt good being there, even if it was brief. I'm opening my new night cream now and remembered how I felt that day. I just wanted to express my gratitude in a review.
