I first walked through the doors of Seven Directions on June 1st, 2018, after having experienced four crushing years of unexplained infertility. Everything looked great health-wise and my doctors couldn’t figure out why my husband and I weren’t conceiving. But we just weren’t. And it was heartbreaking.
During my second session, on June 7th, I felt something in the right side of my pelvis “pop,” followed by an inexplicable emotional release. When I crawled from the table and slid on my shoes, I knew something was different.
On July 18th, I was standing in my bathroom, nearly fainting, holding a positive pregnancy test in my hand.
Judy is an angel on this earth. I hope that, whatever your needs, if you feel intuitively led to try acupuncture, you’ll show up with an open mind and spirit and let the magic unfold as it may—in your time and in whatever way is best for you. Her expertise has helped me with occasional neck pain and tightness, stress, fatigue and general vitality and well-being.
Oh, and the energy in the place is so soothing and rejuvenating, it feels like I’m getting a...
Read moreI had reviewed this place 6 years ago, but wanted to come back and leave an updated review because even years later, they are still as wonderful as they were before. I used to do community acupuncture here years ago; since then, I moved out of state and recently moved back. I manage a lot of chronic illness and pain, and on a really desperate day, I impulsively booked a private session with Cody and am SO glad I did. I have never experienced such truly personalized care and Cody is a true healer. Even though I live across town, I've been driving to see him once a week just because he's so wonderful.
Previous review: I really love Seven Directions community acupuncture. Anthony is so warm and friendly and very thorough. I am very thankful to them for making acupuncture available to those who otherwise would not be able to afford private sessions....
Read morecustomer service is great so i feel bad leaving a one star review but overall i don't recommend acupuncture here.
i have a spinal cord injury and loved acupuncture in the past for treatment but am disappointed by acupuncture in nashville.
seven directions has one large room for acupuncture and people are separated by faux walls / room dividers. even in a "private" session you hear everything on the other side of the "walls".
i dislike how they use blankets on the loungers / chairs. i haven't seen anyone changing rhese out in btw clients and it feels gross to me.
the last & strongest reason i wouldn't recommend this spot is due to one acupuncturist who agreed she could do a method of stimulating my muscle that i was used to receiving back home in NY, but this acupuncturist did not know the precise movement of twisting a needle into a muscle - in my opinion she never shouldve agreed to this if she didn't know. i have had more pain than is normal in that spot & i think it's bc the method i asked for wasn't...
