Chicago Style Gyros — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

After building an appetite shopping at Costco and not really feeling like a hot dog, I stumbled upon this little gem as I sat at the red light waiting to turn on Charlotte Pike.

I tend to love family owned hole in the wall places and this place did not disappoint. The staff is always super friendly and make you feel like they are genuinely happy you stopped in whether dining in or going through the drive through.

The food is always excellent and I always get the namesake dish, Gyros. I would recommend the spicy cucumber salad for the side as well as having the sauce poured all over the dish. The portion you get is really healthy for $10. The gyros are served over rice and with pieces of pita bread so if you are on keto or cutting back on carbs, this is probably not the best.

The grape leaves and fries are sides I have also had which also are great, but there is something about the cucumber salad that makes a carnivore like me enjoy it.

First of all the other reviewers were right.... the ranch dressing is completely watered down and they smothered my gyro sandwich with it which normally would be fine but with it being watered down it kind of screwed up the whole sandwich. I've had better meat on my gyro but it was still pretty good and their tomatoes were very fresh but there bread was a little stale or hard on the edges. The seasoned french fries were incredible. This place has a drive-thru which is great and they made it fresh and we pulled up a little to wait but it only took maybe 4-5 minutes. I would definitely go back but I would not get the ranch dressing again and or just bring my own.there Are still a few other gyro restaurants I want to check out in this area. I'm from the donelson area and I have several restaurants out there that are really good. I'm trying to find my top two restaurants...

It may look mysterious and strange but these looks are very deceiving. The food is always fresh and scrumptious. The people who out the food together are always over serving... this is not a complaint at all, in fact thank you very very much. Some times it's overflowing. Also the sauce dude the sauce is delicious and it funny cause I don't even know the name of the sauce I just always make sure I receive it when I leave. The service is always great it's almost as like they want to be your friend or something it's kina amazing. I do wish the bags were stronger thought. I've never been inside the establishment or restaurant if you will. I've only ever gotten drive thru witch I imagine it better then if you were inside or even if inside but I've gotten drive thru eight times and it is real...
