My employer gave a stipend towards protective footwear, so I went in after narrowing down the search. Redwing was the only company in my search that specialized in protective toe, so I chose them. It was a great decision. They took a 3d scan of my foot, and measured the strike/pressure points of my step on each foot. I ended up getting the Apex shoe with the comfort insert. Easily the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. Which is noteworthy since steel toed shoes are notorious for being uncomfortable. Walked in them for 3 days at Disney with no pain at all. My tennis shoes didn’t even perform that well the last time we did 3 days at a walk-intensive theme park. Bottom line, these things are gold, and worth every penny. Update March 27, 2025 the shoes are performing very well. Shattered a case of glass spaghetti sauce jars on my feet and legs, which came off easily and did not stick. The shoes still look brand new after 3 months. If there is a scuff, you rub it with your finger and it comes out. Redwing’s Customer service is also top notch. A waterproofing seam in the toe began to separate, so I took it in for repair. They informed me that all defect/damage repair is free for the first year. Not sure if that applies to every shoe, or will in the future, but that is a huge value since shoes usually only last for about one year. They repaired the seam, then I bought a kit they installed for free called a Tough Toe. It reinforces the toe, waterproofing since the toe takes the most damage and tends to wear out first. This was my first visit to the Red Wing after my company recently partnered with them, and the experience was top-notch. My digital voucher had just expired, which I wasn't aware of, but the team was very accommodating and understanding. They let me try on several pairs, reserved my boot of choice, and even offered free shipping once my voucher was renewed. Which I got it to them by the end of the day.

I drove all the way from Cookeville because this location had great reviews and now I see why. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about getting things right. They walked me through Red Wing’s history, how the boots are made, and even did a 3D foot scan to ensure a perfect fit. Turns out, most of my past boots were too big and too narrow. They emailed me my scan results, which is super helpful for future purchases.

I ultimately went with the "Irish Setter." They're waterproof, non-metallic toe boots, and I’m glad I did. Additionally they're durable, affordable, and ASTM certified which is important for my work as a fire inspector.

Even before I showed up, the store contacted me multiple times to help sort out the voucher issue. That level of customer service is rare these days. Highly recommend this location. And can't wait to show off my new boots at...

I bought a $265 pair of Irishsetter boots from this location as I have worn Red wings and irishsetter for years. HOWEVER! When I bought them ,like EVERY TIME I've bought them before. I was told by the salesman that i had the same as the red wing return policy as I've been told EVERY TIME I've bought irishsetter or red wing. Well,,, this time I didn't like the irishsetter after wearing them a few time inside my house and went in tho get a refund. They tried to b.s. me! Saying Im sorry Jason (the salesman) should have told you irishsetter doesn't have the Same policy as red wing but we can give you an exchange! I said YOU BETTER ROLL THOSE CAMERAS BACK ,WE ARE GOING TO WATCH THE FOOTAGE TOGETHER, WHERE YOU EXPLAINED TO ME THE !RETURN POLICY! And What He should of told me isn't my problem!
