Star Struck Vintage — Attraction in Nashville-Davidson

I have shopped at Starstruck Vintage for over 3 years now and they have the most amazing Vintage Collection that truly caters to every style, every demographic, and goes above and beyond for her customers. I became friends with the owner, Shane, who is a BADASS at what she does! Shane has made me several custom shirts, including a Swarovski crystal embellished Dolly Parton Sweatshirt that I can't get enough of! Since the Pandemic, I have really loved being able to support small businesses more, and hers is one of my favorites in Nashville for so many reasons.

I just noticed someone commented before me and degraded Shane and her business for not mandating masks in her store. As the OWNER of a store, you are allowed to make your own rules, just like Social Media Giants do when they censor Free Speech....I'm sure you're familiar! Refusing to shop at a store that doesn't abide by your rules is another example of "Cancel Culture"! If masks work so well, and you're wearing one, what are you afraid of? You're truly missing out on an opportunity to shop at one of the coolest stores in Nashville and you also just robbed yourself of supporting a hard working small business owner! I want to start by saying I used to love this place although I’ve always ordered online since I’m out of state. I’ve never had a problem until the last shirt I ordered. I wore it once and turned it inside out and used the very gentle hand wash cycle on my machine and I always hang them to dry however all of the crystals were coming off. It was like they were a strand and all connected instead of individually placed as some of my other shirts. I contacted the owner, Shane, and she said normally it would be my fault because I washed it but she would fix it this one time. Well I needed the address to send it to and she kept avoiding my Etsy & IG messages. When she finally responded she was very rude and so I decided I would just take the loss because I didn’t want to have anything to do with her or her shop ever again. BUYER BEWARE. I’m sure she’ll reply with a fabrication but...

I seeked out this amazing vintage clothing and accessory shop and could not leave once I got there. Shane has an amazing eye, friendly assistant, Brittany, and the coolest collection of clothing that I have ever been in the presence of. The customer service really deserves ten star rating🌟. Brittany took the time to make a list of places to go, eat and have some major fun that most tourists do not get the pleasure of experiencing due to not knowing what the locals know. I am obsessed with these two beautiful, funny, down to earth, yet knowledgeable, fashion gurus. I have a feeling that they will get tired of me popping in every day that I am here since inventory changes daily! I got the best vintage poncho and ring that I will sport and actually think of them when I wear them....that is how special my visit...
