Update: 9/3/24: My son tells me that the visitor center in Natchez, MS has been closed. If anyone can update me on this site please leave me a message. Visited the historic sites here in 2017. The Visitors Center was fully staffed but uninformed as to the National Park Service desk location (in the same building) and this service. Some of the historic sites were closed with no explanation. What we saw was interesting,...

No picnic tables. Parking at top of steep hill down to small, poorly maintained spot to view Mississippi River (peeling paint, rusty unsafe rail kids could fall through). Never saw the valet/bus advertised to take...
