If it was possible to give this place zero stars, I would. My wife and I stopped in here this afternoon with three of our kids, looking forward to trying the food and enjoying the atmosphere. When we walked in, we immediately saw that even though they were not very busy and the place was at about half capacity, at least a quarter of their tables still had food and dishes on them from previous customers, including the only two that had seating room for all of us. We stood in the dining area for 10 minutes, while the two waitresses strolled casually around delivering food or drinks and never acknowledged that we were even there. Eventually I saw another waitress come out of the back holding the box for bussing tables, and without even looking at us begin clearing a two-seat table across the dining area. I got her attention and asked if she could please clear one of the larger tables so we could sit. She gave me a look with more disdain than I had seen on anyone's face in a long time, turned away without even nodding or speaking, picked up the box and stomped to the table I had indicated and started slamming dishes into it. At that point, I turned to my wife and said we're going to find somewhere else to eat. If the service is this bad BEFORE we order, we don't need to see what it is after we order. We walked down to the river and found a restaurant called The Camp, which is excellent in both food and service. I highly recommend heading...

Neat little place that was close by.

Sat at the well stocked bar and was greeted right away by Megan.

Read the menu before going so I knew just what I wanted so i didnt have any questions.

Ordered the Rib and Chicken Combo. Half rack of ribs and a chicken half with sides of baked beans and some coleslaw.

The chicken was apparently a close cousin to an Emu because it was huge! Tasty as can be as well. The ribs were tender and almost fall off the bone and were very tasty and then with the addition of just a hint of their sauce were absolutely wonderful.

The biscuits in the Biscuits and Blues name were small but soft and delicious. They serve them with a butter blended with apricot preserves. Yummy!

There was no live music or even any blues playing but the food and atmosphere made it seem not important.

The place had a good number of local folks eating which is always a good sign for me.

Parking is ample but the entrance can be missed if you're not careful.

All in all -...

I went to Biscuits and Blues Restaurant a year ago for Mother's Day and decided to try it again this year. Last year the food was really good, this year the restaurant had took several steps backwards. My order of ribs and chicken for 16.99 was overpriced with three cold ribs that were clearly cooked a day or two before, my chicken was overcooked and the sides which were black eyed peas and green string beans were well overcooked and appeared that they were reheated from a day before. I'm not sure if the restaurant had changed Cooks but I expected a lot better with it being Mother's day. My mother was also disappointed with her meal which was a simple entree of catfish and Fry's. The catfish which we thought was farm-raised perhaps was Channel catfish. The only bright spot was my nephew had the jumbo fried shrimp which were delicious. So I hope this doesn't become a trend and bring the standards back up to the...

The waiter was great even though he was all alone but we got there at 9 they closed at ten, not on purpose long story. The biscuits would have broken your teeth and the crawfish and mushroom smothered beniets were horrible but the waiter made it right on The bill but the angus filet was one of the best seasoned and perfectly cooked steaks I have ever had ! The cook that prepared them was Mrs Mary I don’t know her but I ask so I would know bc it was that great !!!! That totally saved my day it was so good. !!! Will come bk bc of the filet!

Went to this place without reservation. We ordered the chicken/ribs combo with fries. The waitress was friendly and we had our food after a short wait. As we ordered fries but got beans she took the beans but forgot to bring the fries. After we finished our meal we finally got our fries. Sorry to say that a small part was almost cold where the rest of the fries was steaming hot. Though the meat was excellent and waitresses can make mistakes a kitchen should know better. Still live music and the friendly atmosphere made it for us.
