An incredible experience! This museum in the Presbyterian church depicts Natchez in the late 1800s-1900. In fact, not only depicts these time periods but features original, preserved photographs from this critically important era.
Volunteer docents are friendly and helpful. A suggested donation gets you access to a real-live Time Machine!
The photographs, all local to Natchez and Adams county depicts families from all walks of life, black and white, young and old.
These photos tell an incredible story of Natchez as a well as the south during these critical time periods.
It’ll take longer than you expect to view all of the photos.
It’s all super neat to find the city streets and buildings from the late 1800s that still exist today and are remarkably similar, some 150 years later!
