Valerie and John have a beautiful, historic and welcoming home in this gorgeous part of the world. We arrived after a long hot drive and a crisp glass of wine and a ‘healthy’ martini were thrust into our hands as we toured their lovely private home. The converted lower ground floor was the perfect, self-contained suite complete with tropical lounge and breakfast area and great bedrooms with small but perfectly formed bathrooms that reflected the aesthetic upstairs. A baked French toast on Friday morning and a stuffed French toast on Saturday.||||Great location, gracious hosts and beautiful home; what more could we...
