I bought an oven ignitor yesterday, Friday, August 6, 2020. I thought I purchased the right one but turns out I was one number off on the part number. I came in today, Saturday, August 7, 2020 to return/exchange the part. A tall, older man helped me. I told him what happened, first thing he says is they don't do refunds on oven ignitors. Ok. Fine, I'll eat it but I need the right part. He walked to the end of the counter to talk to another employee then comes back and asks for the right part number. I tell him it's almost the same one on the box of the ignitor I'm returning (which is on the counter in front of him) but instead of #530393506(6) it's #530393506(8). He then proceeds to tell me with attitude, as if I'm a 5 year old child, that I need to be sure because he's "not going to refund me" on the other one. I work for a property management company, I come here often for parts but this specific part was for my oven. I don't need to be talked to like a child because I made a mistake. If you don't do refunds for oven ignitors, then you don't. I'd have been fine with keeping the original part I purchased and I did because after scolding me like a child he told me the right part would have to be ordered and would take 3-4 weeks.
Greet your customers when they walk in. None of you people ever look up and acknowledge anyone coming through your doors. It's like we're bothering you just by coming in. I waited patiently yesterday for almost 30 minutes before anyone helped me and was not once greeted. It makes a difference. If you don't like what you do for a...
Read moreI came in with a picture of serial and model # asking for a thermal fuse I knew I needed. The lady asked for a description. I roughly gave it, knowing there's only 1 thermal fuse on this dryer. She came out with a thermal fuse from a different model and serial number than the 1 I gave, passing it as the part that the model and serial and rough description I provided was for. Then starts to claim a thermal fuse and a thermal cutoff were completely different parts, with different jobs, when I came back asking why she tried to pass off a part that would never come up with the exact model and serial # I gave her. My fault for assuming Appliance Parts company had quality workers not out to scam people, and for not having the exact part I needed in my hand so I wouldn't get scammed. Only go here if this is your job you do everyday and can spot someone passing off wrong parts. She finally offered to refund the non refundable part. It wasn't about the money, I didn't take the money back. It was about building trust with a company that has been around for along time and caring about customer...
Read moreI went in yesterday for a new igniter for a oven. I didnât have the model number so they couldnât sell me a factory OEM part do to the lack of information (model #). They did however suggest going with a universal igniter fit for the brand of the oven (Frigidaire). They were very helpful in explaining what the differences were between the OEM part and the universal part as well as showing me exactly what to do as far as installment. They were very friendly and the install went well. Iâve read a lot of bad reviews about this place and Iâm not saying those comments arenât legit, however, thatâs just not what my experience was when talking to the staff at this establishment. Theyâve been in National City for years, from way back when I was a kid and Iâm 51 now to give you some perspective. Thank you Appliance Parts Company! Great staff,...
