The Flood Museum — Attraction in Nauvoo

Ok, this was SO much better than I was expecting. My kids saw the T. rex and wanted to go but I was hesitant. But it was way cool! I would highly recommend it. We’ll go again next time we visit Nauvoo! It was very family oriented and my 3 and 5 year olds loved it. It reminded me of an escape room style and there were 5 areas that were decorated like different time periods of the earth. It was really well done. And the people who run it are very educated and have a passion for the earths history. There was a lot of interesting information and for a small town they had a lot of cool stuff in the museum area. The prices were super reasonable ($5 per adult) and kids 5 and younger were free. Definitely check it out if you’re doing the other Nauvoo things! You...

Really impressed with the entire experience! Going from phase to phase represented in going room to room was fun and kept it moving for the kids.

I enjoyed the animations and explanations and highly recommend to anyone! Residents and visitors will want to pay this one a visit!
