Absolutely SHOCKED that there's an authentic Hawaiian shaved ice place that shaves blocks of ice. It isn't an Icee or cheapo icee type knock-off! Even in Hawaii you have to watch out because there's plenty of places that are fake icee places there. The place we would go to was out towards the Northshore on Oahu. It was next to the famous shop where everyone touristy would go. The famous shop didn't have real shaved ice. 99% of the icee places in the US don't have it. But this place does! Not only that, but they serve the cream (which is the secret sauce) with it and very generous serving sizes. An excellent value on a unique, one-of-a-kind treat. And, it's right here in the mid-west in Nauvoo.

The syrups were super flavorful, the ice was soooo fluffy, and the toppings were fun and delicious! It honestly rivals our favorite places on the islands. We loved it so much, we came back the next day! Sad we’re leaving early tomorrow, otherwise I’m sure we would stop by for more!

We were so happy to find this place. It’s walking distance from the Nauvoo main downtown area. My wife loved the root beer float and I loved the Grape. Our family got different flavors and I wanted to try the Key Lime pie, but not enough time. If you're ever in Nauvoo, it's a must! Great service, flavors and decor!

We were so happy to find this place. It’s walking distance from the Nauvoo main downtown area. My wife loved the root beer float and I loved the Grape. Bummed we didn’t have a better experience. After a hot day we were looking forward to a cold treat. One of the two shaved ices was melted soup before they handed it to me. When I asked for it to be fixed they said that’s what we ordered. The sodas were flat, warm and barely had any ice in the cup. The other shaved ice was a large and was still frozen when...
