Just an OK park. Playground for little and big kids, basketball and tennis courts, has the workout stations but they need to be repaired or replaced. Small parking lot; additional parking on 5th St. If there's activity on the tennis courts, you're going to be searching for parking. They've added much needed restrooms but they aren't kept up very well. Usually our of TP or just smell bad and are dirty. Needs more benches and swings. The tire swing set is perpetually missing pieces. Equipment is showing age. Nice water features, a butterfly garden, paved walking paths. Other Nearby parks like Russell Park or Bull Park in Atlantic Beach are nicer. A basic park to run the...
Read moreAwesome local park 3 blocks from the beach. Recently redone so everything is new/modern design. Larger playground for bigger kids with cool climbing area, slide, swings, spinning seats. Smaller playground for toddlers with slide, swings, cool family size shark teeter totter. Lake with ducks, beautiful butterfly garden, trail around the park with different work out stops along the way. Lots grassy areas, picnic tables, other peaceful sitting areas. Only downside is the duck poop but when a ducks gotta go, a ducks gotta go. What can you really say? Oh and they have a basketball court and lots of pickleball courts which always seem to be filled up. We...

The playground equipment (I believe they installed it in 2013) is still going strong, but the trenches under the swings are too deep for my 3 year old to get in the swing and swing himself and make it a pain to push him. Also I automatically dock it a star because neither the big playground nor the small one is fully enclosed or gated. If your kids are runners this can be a turn off. Also, there is no shade on the playground, and very little over...
