Firehouse Subs Neptune — Restaurant in Neptune Beach

So I came in at 9:30 and they close at 10 and I know it’s 30 minutes to close but all I wanted was a quick cold sub that took 5 minutes to make. There were two lady employees. The first one who spoke to me asked if i was picking up or ordering. She was a shorter woman with dark hair. When I told her I was placing an order she turned away from me and did a very deep sigh almost as if she wanted me to hear it. I disregarded it although I almost walked out at that point. I work in the service industry. Trust me I know sometimes it can be frustrating when you think your night is done and a patron comes in. But there was still 30 minutes to close at this point and there were two other people in the store. So I let it go. The lady who was on the register was extremely pleasant. Very nice. It was like night and day to be honest. I haven’t even looked at the food yet or anything because I’m sitting in my car typing this in the parking lot. Like I understand the frustration but what really got me is while I was waiting for my food the girl who seemed to have an attitude was slamming doors and huffing and puffing. When I say slamming doors I mean like she was taking out the trash from the station and she slammed the door loud as hell to the point where I had to bite my tongue. Like I said the girl who was working the register was super pleasant and friendly. Vs the other girl who you could tell who didn’t want to be there at all. And that’s fine. Just maybe don’t take closing shifts? Because I love firehouse but I know for a fact I will just drive the extra 8 minutes to never come back here again. I’ll just go to a different location. This might be the longest review I’ve ever left because it left that sour of a taste in my mouth. I still tipped because like I said. I’m also in the service and I don’t believe in stiffing but I did dumb my tip down because of how much of an attitude that girl had. Especially out at the beaches which is my home and my bread and butter. This was just by far the worst firehouse experience I’ve ever had in my 19 years of living in Jacksonville. Maybe that girl just had a bad day and I do feel bad for not leaving my usual tip just because of the cashier who was super pleasant deserved more but there was no way I wanted to put any money in that other girls pocket and I am so sorry to say that but she does not need to be there on...

I order here all the time. Usually its a awesome experience, but today was different. I orders on seamless or grub hub got a confirmation email and a text. My mom goes to get the order they say they don't have it. ( they really did) but the manager Temp? Was her name supposedly. Wouldn't even look up the order number I had just told me basically oh well even though I ordered it and paid for it online, had all the proof she told me to go to beach and Hodges lol. So I had to call the place I ordered through they called literally 8 times with no answer and got it settled for me. Turns out the order was there the hole time! If the "manager" would have just listen to me and looked up the order number I had! Would have saved me almost 2 hours, then she tried to give us the subs that had been sitting there for 2hrs lol. Luckily the workers tanner jacolo and phil made us new subs. Super nice guys! They need a new manager one who listens to you not just shuts you down. The male manager is amazing 5 stars for him.he is the best! But this lady not so much. Thank god I got in touch with the ppl I orders through or I would have spent over 30 bux for nothing, One bad employee can bring down the hole shop! I come in today. Get greated. All is great. The employees and manager are entangled in a conversation about why the managers mom named her Ally like the Alligator. Then they take the convo in the back room. I am just standing there for 5 minutes. They young lady comes out to take order and keeps messing. Then rolling her eyes at me. Then messes up more. Then they messed up my girlfriend's order. And the messed up the three people waiting food. They gave them an extra sub free. The male could not figure out how to make my salad. The manager had to come do it. The young lady is just circling doing nothing. The manager makes me the worse salad. And the guy mad my woman's sub with the wrong ingredients. May not ranch. We didn't want to complain. Because we can't see them remake the food. And the maturity level...
