I always seem to have the worst experiences with getting my hair done. After deciding I wanted my brown hair back from black I knew I probably need it professionally done so I looked and asked around and landed upon this salon... I called and scheduled a consultation I was estamated at about $100.00 for color correction with I was fine with and came back a week later for my appt. she started off by bleaching my hair, she kept asking the other hair dressers if "everything look ok" and "what should I do" I was a little nervous about how many questions where being asked but pushed it off... She then asked me what color of brown I wanted to put in my hair and I said about a tone 5 or 7 and she blow dryed my bleached hair and began to apply the color. Once applied the hair dye turned bright red and she began to get worried and asked others if everything was gonna turn out ok. They said yes. I started getting really worried at this point. After being blow dryed and cut and styled my hair was pretty much red. I payed and left a little pissed off. I got home and my hair was uneven, red, and you would see a line around around my head where my regrow was a lighter red then the rest of my head. I evened up my hair by my self and just planed to box dye it. My mom called the next morning and complained and we went back to get my hair fixed. She was then very rude and informed me "you can't go light brown" I said I know and just wanted the red out and she scoffed at me and said "well the swatch you picked yesterday had a red undertone to it.. So I mean. It's whatever I guess. I'll just have to redo it" and rolled her eyes. She was extremely rude and ignored my mom who tried to make small talk and was just all around the whole visit. After she applied the brown hair dye she said see you in 35 mins and went to the back leaveing me sit in the chair with hair dye on my my face and part of my eyebrow about 5-10 mins later my mom began to get worried that the dye was Going to stain my face and my eyebrow (which is very light) the women doing another costumers hair next to me said "I was looking at that" and walked over and wiped the hair dye off my face and it still didn't come off and ended up staining a little part of my face and eyebrow... She came back and rinsed my hair out and then blow dryed and said "there" and sent me on my merry way. The manager called me later and left a voicemail asking if everything went ok so I'll have to call her back. But I will more then likely not return to this salon. I expected more from the...
Read moreI got my hair permed by Maddie, and she didn't do a really good job. She lifted pieces of hair out of the rollers and she made multiple comment that it was taking her forever to roll my hair because my hair was thick. She kept huffing and even started gossiping about some other clients with a coworker. The place is kinda dirty, or at least the combs and perm rollers are. someone else's hair was on the perm rollers and kept falling on me, plus I watched another lady use a comb on someone and it still had hair in it. As far as my spiral perm, it was mostly wavey and had some straight pieces. I don't think she put the rollers in my hair tight enough. She also would not tell me how to take care of the perm just that I could buy the products there. She left my hair dripping wet, and it was 1 degree outside. The worker took a wet fake piece of hair outside and it froze straight up. They made a comment, "Don't let your clients leave with wet hair", yet they let me leave with wet hair. This is not the first time I had Maddie. The first time I had her, I paid for a service she didn't give me and my hair didn't turn out the way I wanted. I probably won't come back here or recommend it to anyone. The picture is of what my hair looked like...
Read moreI had Went there for several years for a specific hairdresser. I had seen a lady at the boat and liked her hair and asked her who did it. The Hairdresser i used was immature although dressed appropriately and could do my hair most of the time like I wanted. I wanted the same hi light and cut every time. She had the skill although didn’t care about me. She would never write down what color she used. I even asked her why she doesn’t write notes down. My hi light Color was not consistently the same color every time. Sometimes my hair didn’t even look much better then when I do it. It’s a hassle to get a good hairdresser. Anyway, I witnessed drama In the shop one day. An argument between employees in the reception area. I told them we don’t need to hear that. That we are here for a service. By the way, not enough seats in the reception area. One hairdresser there usually does not dress appropriately, which that’s her style, she has no make up on, was loud at times and does her own thing. I got turned off by her at times. Yes, it is a Diverse shop, although everyone should respect that there are customers of all walks of...
