I took my daughter here for a spa day. We both received manicures, I got a pedicure and we decided to get a lash lift because we have talked about getting it done for quite sometime. The staff was very friendly & they did a beautiful job on our nails. The last service before we left was our lash lift and I should have went with my gut and got up and left, but I trusted that the service provider was a professional after the beautiful job they did on our nails. When the lady began applying the chemicals to my eyelashes she got it all over the skin under my eyes and then covered it with saran wrap. It was a little bothersome, but wasn't really burning. She set a timer and turned off all of the lights and left me under a steamer. The timer went off and I waited patiently for her to return. I began counting in my head to figure out how long it would take her to come back in after the timer went off and it was 4 minutes. I have never had this done before so at the time I was unaware of how crucial it is to remove these products in a timely matter. When she finally did come back in she applied the next chemical and left again, same song and dance. By the 3rd time she noticed that the skin under my eyes was turning red and got paper towels and began to remove the chemicals from my skin and asked me if I was alright. I said it was burning and that my eyes were burning and she gave me wet paper towels to wipe them. When she was finished I took a look and my lashes looked GREAT! They were totally lifted and pretty, but still wet. I paid at the front and thanked the staff for a job well done. By the time I got home my lashes were dry and I mean DRY, like brittle, like you have been wearing crusty mascara all day and you cant wait to get home to wash your face. I looked in the mirror when I got home and I was horrified. Under my eyes looked like it was red and raw (chemical burns) my eyes were red, my eyelashes were all matted together and curled into the shape of a backwards "c" and my lower lashes were sticking straight out because they had been combed up with my upper lashes during the lift. My daughter had the same result. I began looking online the next day and figured out what had happened. We were sadly the recipients of a bad, over processed lash lift. I went into the salon today and politely explained to the lady that we were very unhappy with the result of the service. She told me that what happened with our lashes was normal and it always happens when you put chemicals on your hair, just as if you were perming your hair, the hair gets dry and brittle. She had no explanation for the chemical burns under my eyes or the fact that my lower lashes were sticking straight out, but she continued to tell me that she did the service correctly and I should just put baby oil on my eyelashes until they grow out again. I am sorry, but that is not how a business should operate. If you mess up, or if you do not know what you are doing then own up to it. I spent a lot of money at this business and had planned on going there frequently due to the close proximity to my house, but because of the unprofessional experience I received and the lack of resolve from the bad lash service I wont be coming again (even though I have a $30 gift certificate from the business to make up for the $120 I spent on the lash service & the fact that they burned my eyes and fried my...

If you have asthma DO NOT have a flare up. I was choking on a piece of food before entering and coughed to try to get it dislodged and was treated as though I was diseased. Even though I explained the situation and even had proof that I wasn't sick, because I get tested often, i was still treated like a leper. After I got the food dislodged I didn't cough the remainder of the time I was there.. obviously because I wasn't choking anymore, and they still rushed my nails in order to get me out as fast as possible and the way I was treated embarrassed me terribly. Its not been two weeks and my nails are already chipping.
I suffer from both asthma and allergies but still wear a mask when in public. This time I was choking on a piece of food but still wearing my mask. I even stepped outside when I had to take of my mask so that I wasn't around anybody and could actually dislodged the food I was choking on without disturbing anyone, and repaved my mask before reentering the salon. None of it matters in today's society, I understand this, but instead of being asked if I was okay or if I needed help I was treated horribly and embarrassed. Instead of being treated like the loyal client I was and had been for quite some time I was separated from everyone and moved to the far side and rushed out.
I spoke with them about the gaps between my real nail and acrylic nail, this being the third time this has happened, and they said there would be no gaps.. there's gaps, again.. which means they don't properly apply they false nail before beginning with the acrylic. By doing this you either have debris that gets caught and creates issues or you have to go back sooner because your nails come off faster or break. I myself am a cosmetologist and know that this is Not Good.
I will not go back and I will no longer recommend them to anyone. Time to find a new...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLICENSED COSMETOLOGIST! Absolute worst experience I didn't even know it was possible to give a horrible pedicure but they did it! These tools are being reused and not properly sanitized They are spraying alcohol on your feet prior to using a tool Each REUSABLE tool should be in a A barbicide sanitizer for at least 10 minutes And a pumice stone cannot be reused!! I stopped the service mid way when I noticed dirty tools and the tech physically hurting me with the massage that I told him TWICE was HURTING ME! Another tech told him as well that I said it hurts but he continued. The fact that my feet sat in a bowl of cold water for 35 minutes wasn't even a big deal after everything else! When I stopped the service I offered to pay for half as the service was not completed I STILL OFFERED TO PAY for what I received! I DID NOT do the paraffin wax, hot towels, and polish The manager claimed since I stopped the service because I was just unhappy I would still need to pay for the ENTIRE service!! I told them NO WAY Most people would have said they weren't paying at all but I still offered!!! I ended up spending $45 on a cold foot bath for 35 minutes because there were no techs (even though I called ahead), leg pain from the "massage", pain in the center of my foot where his finger nails was driving into my foot, and bare minimum product out of these little sample packets. Don't waste your time or risk getting an...
