If you like your fast food to be prepared at a painstakingly slow pace, this is the place for you! 👍 I sat in a line of 5 cars, greatly anticipating the sweet and tangy goodness of an A1 Thick & Hearty™ satisfying my evening hankering for a tasty burger, and 3 cars had moved through in a period of 22 minutes. My eager anticipation slowly curdled into a sour displeasure as I sat there, yearning to share my order through the drive thru speaker that was so close, yet so far away. After I weighed the cost of having already sat in line for so long, I decided it would be most prudent to abandon my evening burger expedition and return home, only to be boxed in by a couple of fellow burger lovers as I was preparing to back out. 😢 Curses! The displeasure I felt earlier now gave way to a sense of resigned imprisonment. I would never get the tasty burger I longed for, and I was now trapped - gas guzzlers to my front and rear, tasteful landscaping to the left and right - with no escape. Another fifteen minutes passed. It seemed like an eternity, like I was a settler traveling across the great Atlantic on a rickety old ship. As much as I felt that slipping into a hopeless depression was inevitable, I picked myself up by the bootstraps with a renewed resolve. Behold! My turn at the speaker awaits! I gleefully coasted to the speaker and shared my desire for an A1 Thick & Hearty with my drive thru attendant. It was like hearing the voice of a very old and dear friend. She was more than happy to accommodate my request. Another ten minutes elapsed, and I finally realized my dream of a tasty burger! It was a treasured relic, I nearly didn't eat it for what I had to go through to acquire it. I reached into my bag as I exited the premises to indulge in my usual handful of hot savory fries for the ride home, only to feel my heart drop as my fingers danced upon cold, hard tater tips. I felt a searing sense of betrayal as I pondered how this could be possible after a 45 minute wait. I reversed back to the restaurant, parked my vehicle and swapped this sorry excuse for a batch of fries inside for some fresh ones before my ordeal was complete. Please consider another...
Read moreI live 2 minutes away from this location, and have never had complaints until recently. The service at this location continues to decline with every visit, and I feel has hit rock bottom. My wife and I frequent this location, and our last few experiences have been horrible.
My wife prefers ordering online and doing curbside pickup - as this location discontinued or never offered drive-thru pickup for at least the past 3-4 months. For her order yesterday evening (after 7 PM), after waiting the mandatory 10 minutes (at least), they finally brought it out to her. They didn't check with her to make sure it was all complete, as an item ordered was missing. My wife then had to get the kids out of the vehicle and go inside to ask for the missed item. The only positive from this interaction was they didn't make her wait in line again. The whole point her using curbside is the convenience of not having to get multiple kids out of carseats and bring them inside - and that didn't even work.
Now for me. Today I went to the drive thru (at 11 AM - busy but not crazy), and ordered with the outdoor cashier and was directed to lane B. After placing my order, it was a 20 minute wait to get my food - and they had to come out to my car to confirm which order was mine. Instead of apologies, I received an excuse about a "new system." In the meantime, 4 vehicles that had been behind me in line and placed orders after me received their food in the window lane A. Upon arriving back to work, I found my drink to be wrong, as well as my burger, with over half of my lunch break wasted sitting in the DT lane waiting.
I don't know if these issues are representative of the "new system," a lack of training or just a lack of interest on the employee's end, but at this point, I would rather drive an additional 10 minutes each way and go to Creekside than suffer through more apathy and inaccuracy at this location. I attempted to submit a review to Whataburger instead of using a Google review, but was unable to since they didn't even provide me a receipt for my purchase. Time for management to step up and turn this...
Read moreWent in @ 10:26pm and ordered a #1 and a bacon blue cheese combo. The 2 other orders with our party that placed their orders after ours got their orders before ours. 1 order was good 1 was cold. After 40 min I went to check on my order. Kid taking orders checked with the manager and said there are several orders before but ours was there. 15 min later I noticed there was a 2nd person with my same order #. So I checked again with a 2nd manager and they bumped our order and it would be another 45 min wait. The other order that had only been waiting 15 min would be 1st. When I expressed my dissatisfaction they started telling the kid taking orders to tell ppl that there would be a delay of an hour on new orders. Mark didn't offer to move my order to the front, discount my order, offer me free food, or any action to correct this. After seeing that none cared or was going to make any effort to make this right I demanded a refund. On top of that there were 6 young employees seating by the drink machine talking about having to work late and only getting their lunch break 15 minutes before the end of their shift. Then blonde order running girl was telling them she was bumping the employees orders in front of customers orders. We had already placed a togo order or we would have left right then. This was also cold when we got it. Also a customer who had placed a to go order in the app and been notified it was ready also was told it would be a 45 min wait. This is completely unacceptable and truly the worst whataburger experience of my life. I absolutely get long lines, upset customers, and mistakes happen. But as a former food service manager the poor quality of food, lack of attention to good customer service, and no want to correct the issues shows a lot of how this franchise is run. I will not be returning to this location and would not recommend...
