FIRST of All before it became Scantlebury Park it's was my old School St Martin only Catholic school in Elm CITY district so not only did I attended the school but my whole family did as well as the Church St Martin, Under the Leadership of Father Elko one of the living pioneers of the church for over 50 years so I believe not only is the Park BLESS but it's a milestone for the community it's the Home of Ashmun Street Reunion when we all come together in LOVE one of the biggest Event that take place yearly that allows us to all Reunite and reminisce on the old day of us all growing up in the ELM CITY High-rise & Low-rise so I'm grateful for the Park as well as other milestones we can never forget the Elk Club & the Dixwell Q - House thay where it All started at so I'm just so bless for my brother & sister that grew up in the community and let not never forget all of our four runner who pave the way who done move on with the Lord ๐๐๐๐๐ฏ to a better place we say to the ones REST in the Kingdom of Heaven and we Thank you and We miss you and we celebrate you in Jesus name Amen. When sunlight passes through the droplets, a beautiful rainbow appears in the spray. The most popular feature is the colorful tipping bucketsโonce theyโre full, they suddenly tip over with a splash, soaking the children and setting off bursts of laughter. ย ย ย Read moreGreat park for older and younger kids. There is a water feature that even my 1yo loved. There are swings for toddlers and a separate little kid playground with the rubberized flooring. There are two basketball courts and a baseball diamond (but I have never seen the baseball field used). The parking isn't great, but it is off the Farminton Canal trail and is great to run, bike or walk to. This is one of my favorite family parks in New Haven. Also, there is a water fountain and portable toilets (those aren't so great). I go to this park alone and...
