Unimpressive. I made the decision to sign a contract and to $$$ as an artist to be at this gallery. I had that inside feeling like it would not be worth it, but I had high hopes. Unfortunately, I had many miscommunications, not from the staff, but by the owner. I felt that as a customer and an artist, there should be been more respect for artists and better publicity. It was a lesson for me to learn and I learned it in my pocket book. I have sold many paintings in galleries where I do not pay a fee, so why did I think I should pay a fee? I'm not sure. Perhaps, I thought the gallery had a list of collectors, or that they brought in a big mix of art lovers for the artist opening. Which, by the way, did not happen until 2 or so months after my work was in the gallery. There are some very excellent artists in this gallery, but it was not a good business or financial decision on my part. Live and learn, is what the old adage says. And, if I really wanted to be in a "vanity" gallery, I really should have saved my money for a New York gallery in Chelsea. Which, I have been invited to in the past, but never wanted to pay any fee, as its always a risk on an artist's reputation. Plus, when an artist has to pay a fee, it always seem there is zero passion for a gallery to move or sell work as gee, there's not financial motivation. Basically, it was a bad decision as an artist and I am responsible for making that decision, no one else...
Read moreWhat a very disappointing experience. After purchasing a piece of art at the beginning of August, I am still waiting on a certificate of authenticity. After repeated phone calls, I was finally told by the owner that she would return my call and let me know when my certificate would be placed in the mail. I have since made multiple phone calls none of which have been returned. I still have no certificate of authenticity for the artwork that I purchased. The only reason I am giving one star is because I have to in order to leave a review. I would never purchase anything from the seller as I am now unsure as to what I purchased or if it is in fact, authentic. How very disappointing. But I guess once they have your money, they don’t care anymore. I would never use this business or Sauls communications, which they also...
Read moreI purchased a piece of art from this gallery and was told it would include a certificate of authenticity. Despite repeated emails and phone calls over the past few weeks, I still haven’t received it, and haven’t heard back from anyone. I’m leaving this review in hopes that someone from the gallery will finally respond, as it seems they’re active in the comments on positive reviews. This has been a really disappointing experience, especially given the nature of the purchase. I’d appreciate a resolution.
I’ve reached out to Kim as I was told to do in the below comment but still...
