Olive-N-Grape — Local services in New Hope

One of the best stores to buy olive oils and balsamic vinegars around. Their selection is quite large, and they allow you to sample any kind before you buy.

However, their communication and hours leave much to be desired. After coming in one particular day to find that it was closed despite what their website read, they told me I needed to check their Facebook page instead. I also explained that Google had their hours as different than their website, and they said that they didn't have anything to do with that, despite Google's attempts to verify the hours with the business as per my suggested Google edits.

So I came back on a different day, after having made an hour plus trip, only to find that they closed because of rain. They gave less than an hour's notice before failing to open that day, which means I made that trip for nothing.

This place has exceptional Olive Oils, Vinegars, and Seasonings. All of the oils amd Vinegars are available to taste. Their Italian blend seasoning is my favorite and you can see by the picture that I bought the biggest bag they had this time. The Italian Seasoning blend is great in olive oil for dipping and I love it mixed in scrambled eggs as well as many other uses. Their aged Balsamic Vinegar is great all around and we picked up some Truffle Balsamic and Basil Olive Oil which both taste great. I also grabbed some black Hawaiian Sea Salt which I'm looking forward to using as well. I will be using all of these recently purchased ingredients in some of my upcoming cooking classes. The Father and Daughter team that own and run the joint are great as well, they made suggestions but never pushed sales. If you're in New Hope, you HAVE to check...

This place is wonderful. My husband knows a lot more about cooking than I do but this place was fantastic for us. They give you the option of taste testing the oils before buying a bottle which was really helpful for us to find the perfect ones for our recipes. We went in there to just buy one bottle for one recipe but thanks to the wonderful staff and terrific way of displaying products where you can taste test, we ended up getting 3 bottles and can't wait to use their website when we need more.
