Brookfield Technology Center — Attraction in New Milford

Terrible service. My laptop wasn't charging properly because the jack was broken. My mom knows the owner so she brought it there 2 weeks ago to get the part replaced. They said that they would call the next day to give us an update on the computer. They didn't call until 5 days later... not even to give an update! They called us to ask what we wanted them to do with the computer! We didn't hear from them for another week. Very Unprofessional. Did not respond to e-mails or phone calls for an update. Finally on Friday my mom bit his head off about it and the laptop STILL WAS NOT FIXED! She was told "Try calling tomorrow. It SHOULD be done by then". Guess what? IT WASN'T!!! I finally got my laptop back yesterday. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYBODY!!!

side note: The store was made well aware that the laptop needed to be fixed by a certain date and they still did...

Turned in my laptop's failing hard drive to get the data transferred to a new one I already put inside the laptop. They tried to give me data belonging to somebody else, then they said they "lost" my hard drive and couldn't find it, suggesting that somebody might have taken it. No cameras to check what happened to it. I am a video editor and I spent a long time digitizing old home movies with deceased relatives, and the hard drive began failing before I had a chance to make copies of the videos. Years of memories and many other important files and programs all likely gone forever because of their carelessness... I'm just glad I checked the laptop before I paid...

Similar situation with the other complaint. Brought them a laptop, a day or so later they said it was fixed. Picked it up to find out it didn't work. Brought it back...and they had it for weeks. They said the were "working on it" but after loosing patience and being treated poorly over the phone, I went there, I walked passed everyone and right into the repair area to see it sitting on a shelf. I took it and walked out. Nothing was done to fix it. I reported it to my credit card company for a refund. Got the refund. Owner calls me some time after that to find out what had happened. At no time did the owner offer to make it right. Why are they still...
