Gallery Burguieres — Attraction in New Orleans

It always starts with walking down the street right?  I was here on business and the shop just caught my eye.  Walked by, and turned around and started exploring the amazing work, and had a nice chat with the manager Evie about the history of the shop and the work inside.  Over the next month, I kept thinking about the store and kicked myself for not picking up a few pieces I really liked.  A few weeks later I was back in town and stopped by on a stormy day where it was pouring rain.  I called the number on the door and spoke to Evie who was willing to come down in the downpour to open up for me, but discovered what I was looking for was not in stock. So I said I would reach out to put in a special request.  So a month later, I was headed back and made a call hoping there was still time to make the order and get it in before I arrived.  When I called the shop Evie not only remembered me but also said that she made sure they had the items I wanted in stock to be ready for me!  How is that customer service!  I am a proud owner of some wonderful work and a fan for life of Gallery Burguieres!!  Amazing art, but even more amazing staff.  So don't be afraid to stop by and look around, you might just find something you did not know you were looking for! Since visiting the gallery over a decade ago, I've wanted a larger piece of art. I finally had the chance to choose something with a living room update. After contacting the gallery to confirm shipping details for a large canvas print - the Butterfly Garden - (and comparing options to pickup), I placed my order online and received it within the expected time.
