Update. Dined here again and enjoyed. We tried a couple new things, grilled romaine and broccoli side, along with some items we had last time. Enjoyed it as such as the first time. I did ask for salt and pepper and enjoyed the steak more than last time once I added a touch of salt. The broccoli side looks underwhelming when served but it is quite delicious. Crisp but cooked and seasoned well. Grilled romaine was also very good. Cheese plate dessert is a very fun play on a charcuterie and was a nice dessert to share after a big meal. Once again will return.

Great new restaurant with a dark and moody vibe. Interiors are done very well. Service was very good, friendly and attentive but not overbearing. This is where I wish there were 1/2 stars. This is more than a 4 for me but not a 5. Steak tartare was delicious and loved that it was served with crispy wontons. Burrata also delicious and a generous portion. Not sure how the tomato was seasoned or marinated that came with the dish but it was a great contrast to the cheese. Bone marrow looked beautiful (not a fan so don’t eat it) and thought it was a nice twist to be severe with escargot on top but the person in our group that ate it felt the escargot impacted the flavor of the marrow and didn’t love it. I did taste the escargot a d it was seasoned well and very good. Rib eye was cooked as ordered and very good but I felt it needed more salt. Both the bison short rib and beef Wellington were liked by those who ordered. They both looked delicious The mashed potatoes were creamy but not as rich tasting as I would gave expected. Creamed spinach was very good but heavy on cheese, just my personal preference but I like it less cheesy. Overall a great experience and...

As long-time New Orleans locals, we’re always on the hunt for a place that brings something fresh to the table while still capturing that unmistakable NOLA charm. The Husky is exactly that — a new favorite that already feels like home. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, striking that perfect balance between stylish and comfortable. But what really set the experience apart was our incredible server, Ethan.

Ethan is the kind of server you remember — not just because he was attentive and professional (which he absolutely was), but because he made us feel like we were more than just guests; we felt like old friends. He knew the menu inside and out, gave thoughtful recommendations (every one of which hit the mark), and had the kind of genuine energy that elevated the entire evening. He anticipated everything we needed without ever hovering, and his timing was flawless — we never felt rushed, yet everything flowed perfectly.

You can tell he truly loves what he does, and that joy is infectious. His attention to detail and ability to read the table created an effortless and relaxed dining experience, one that made us want to linger just a little longer over drinks and dessert.

The food was exceptional — bold, creative, and delicious — but Ethan made it unforgettable. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both phenomenal food and next-level service, and The Husky nails it on both fronts. This place is the new spot, no question about it.

We’ll be back often — and we’ll definitely be asking for...

10/10, we are definitely coming back to try whatever we couldn't try this time. Especially want to try the burger. Attentive service, wonderfully kept restroom, delicious food, good variety of menu options, attention to food allergies, good happy hour options. We came for a special event and took our time enjoying the crispy oyster mushrooms, crispy oysters, French onion soup, NY Strip, beef wellington, and the key lime dessert. I can definitely see why the crispy fried oysters are the most popular choice, the flavors were so perfect balanced and enjoyable. The beef wellington was outstanding and I definitely want to get it again. I was tempted to get another key lime tart to take home because it was soooo delicious. The house cab and sparkling wine and the whiskey old fashioned were exactly what we hoped for (even better that we inadvertently caught happy hour pricing). The lighting was a little dim but the overall vibe was nice and the music was not too loud for conversation or jarring. I was happier with sensory ear plugs. The decor gives the feel of a fancy cozy place. Bathroom was neat and clean and had adorable dog wallpaper. There was seating near the restroom to wait in. Making a reservation online was painless and quick. There was some seating by the entrance of waiting for a table and it looked like they allow you to order from the bar while you're...

My experience at The Husky restaurant in New Orleans was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff and seated promptly. Nellie, our server, was an absolute gem. She was attentive, friendly, and truly enhanced our dining experience with her excellent service. The food was absolutely delicious. We started off with the Endive and Apple Salad, which was fresh and flavorful. For our mains, we had the Beef Wellington and Ribeye, both of which were cooked to perfection. The whipped potatoes and spinach sides were the perfect accompaniments to our meal. For dessert, we indulged in the decadent chocolate cake which was the perfect end to our meal. The cocktails were also top-notch - the Manhattan, Old Fashioned, and Espresso Martini were expertly crafted and delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was elevated and masculine, with a cozy ski lodge vibe. It was the perfect setting for a special dinner. Overall, I cannot recommend The Husky highly enough. The quality of the food, the exceptional service, and the inviting atmosphere all contributed to a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be returning soon.
