Colorado Snow & Skate — Attraction in New Providence

Love love love these fellas! Over the season came in for ski rentals for me, board rentals for my daughter (different visits). Each time Pat was an absolute gem. NO PRESSURE, super friendly and helpful. Helped us pick the right gear and educated us for how different gear works. Returning the gear was super easy. Loved everything so much that I then purchased skis from them, and will get boots in the fall - CANT WAIT!

Keep in mind - it is a SMALL BUSINESS. Booming in the cold season, slow in the hot season. This shop is shop of passion and love for these guys. They utilize high schoolers when it gets crazy busy. If you feel they aren't addressing your every need, either come back at a less busy time, or simply ask yourself if you are being too needy?

The owner Josh is the greatest most down to earth guy I’ve met in a while. I came in and he immediately helped me remedy what I thought was a major situation for my longboard. Within 10-15 minutes, we’d had a great conversation, gotten to know a bit about each other’s situations, and he and his employees encouraged me to take better care of my board and try snowboarding which I most definitely will. Do not ever go here, the staff was rude and they tried to rip me off. I brought my skis to get tuned, and after telling me over the phone that they could do it in a day or two, when I got there, they told me it would take a week. The person at the register told me I had to pay an additional charge if I wanted "expedited" service, and when I questioned that, the owner came out and was very rude to me, he made disparaging remarks about my age, as well as sexist comments, the shop was small and it smelled bad....
