Quiet Flight Surf Shop — Attraction in New Smyrna Beach

Be prepared to drop at least 400$ easy if you want to buy an outfit and 2 pairs of sandals but that's okay thats not really what irritated me. I am assuming that the young lady in the shop named ashlynn thought that me and my husband were dressed like poor folks or middle class because she decided to pick me and my husband out of the bunch of people that were also in the store that were all dressed nice and looked like they had money but what's strange is me and my husband had nice clothing on as well just like we always do when we go places we might not have a ton of money but that doesn't give this young lady the right to pick us out of the crowd and just assume that we were trying to steal, she kept following me and my husband around the store everytime we turned around she was there, my hubby was carrying 2 pairs of sandals around in his hands after picking them out and we were looking at other stuff and we acquired some outfits and shoes for me and we were about to go to the counter and here comes ashlynn asking us if we would like for her to set our stuff at the front counter, so basically long story short sorry for the long paragraph and the bad grammar and writing skills but I felt like she was pointing us out as thieves and we do not appreciate that at all especially after we went to the counter and dropped 400$. And while she was following us around the store I would ask her questions about the clothes and stuff and I guess she thought I was trying to distract her so my husband could steal I truly do not appreciate being treated like a theif because of whatever she thought about us but didn't bother...

2 visits- 1st visit- I brought my daughter in and Zach got her all set up. He fully explained how to setup, maintain and surf her new board. Took his time and got her fully set up without a rush. On our way out with her new board tucked under her arm, the whole shop was clapping for her. It felt like they extended their love of surfing to her. 2nd visit- Dad's turn. Talked with Ian over the phone and told him my experience level and what I wanting to accomplish and he recommended the exact board I was already looking at online. I let him know that I was coming in but I had a parking challenge with a truck and trailer but no worries, he made sure that I had a spot to park in. Although the vibe was relaxed in his shop, he knew time was of the essence. These 2 guys aren't gonna let you leave their shop without full knowledge of what you're buying. My girlfriend and I drove over from the gulf coast to pick up an Anti Hero and have a two day surf trip this weekend. Spoke with Grant a couple of times, who really helped my dial in the size I should stick to for my average conditions/weight/skill level. Ian and Zach were in the shop when we got into town, and their stoke for me getting a new board was unreal. No sales pushes just straight excitement. My girlfriend ended up getting so hyped off their excitement and board knowledge, she pulled the trigger on a Bad fish also. Spent half the weekend surfing and the other half talking about how awesome you guys were to us. You guys are doing it right for sure, so stoked and can't wait to pick up the next Freshie...
