A Brooklyn Gem Through the Generations. A Must-Visit for Families! Adventurers Amusement Park, formerly known as Nelly Bly, has been a true staple of Brooklyn for decades. Growing up in Bensonhurst in the '90s, I have vivid, core memories of visiting this magical place. Back then, it was a highlight of every summer, and to this day, those childhood memories still bring a smile to my face. Now, as a mom, I get to experience the same joy through my own kids. We frequent the park every spring, summer, and fall, and it never disappoints. While the park itself is small, it’s jam packed with all the classic rides that spark pure joy and endless laughter in children ages 2–10. From the moment we walk in, it's clear that this place is run with care, heart, and an emphasis on family fun. The bathrooms are always clean, with an attendant on-site keeping everything tidy a huge plus for any parent! The snack bar is refreshingly affordable, which means no stressful “can I have that?” debates with the kids. The games are fair, with great prizes, and the two-hour wristbands make the entire experience incredibly budget-friendly. One of the best parts? It’s never overcrowded. The most you’ll wait for a ride is one round something unheard of at bigger parks like Coney Island. The entire space is spotless, and the staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel safe and welcome. Special shoutout to Mark and John, who are always a pleasure to work with. I’ve hosted three birthday parties here for my kids, and even years later, their friends still talk about them. The party packages are hands down the best deal in all five boroughs. The option to order a 3-foot hero from Brooklyn’s own Lioni’s (for the adults and one of the best Italian spots around) pizza, chips and juice boxes for the kids included in the package, is a total game-changer. With what you get and the memories it creates, Chuck E. Cheese doesn’t even come close. Adventurers has been a cherished part of my family’s life for three generations and I hope one day my grandchildren will get to enjoy it just as much as we have. I’ll be a loyal customer for life. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, nostalgic, and fun filled park for your kids, this is it. Adventurers is a true...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE.THE RACISM IS REAL.I was just on a field trip and with my teacher and classmates.WE ARE MINORS.My teacher has wrote an review already and didn’t even get a apology? And told us to get the manger instead? I don’t want the mangers help I want a actual apology.so here’s what happened. My class and teacher were here expecting a fun and good field trip. And went to the ice cream shop.(know that we were first in line). The manger replied to my teachers a review and said “We have policy one class at the time” But the thing was we were there first? So basically we were having a good time and wanted ice cream and candy because who wouldn’t want something sweet? My class and teacher walked to the ice cream or candy shop telling the cashier what we want but soon noticed that she was acting like we weren’t here.Another class goes behind us and the cashier sees them but not us? She basically ran to the other class to take there orders even though we were here first.Didn’t they say they did one class at a time?Again I’m a MINOR writing this review because of how I feel I literally never felt so ignored before and has never felt racism in my life. Now I guess it’s my first. And sorry I forgot to say my whole class is Chinese including the teacher.Honestly if you wanna go here and experience racism like how we adult and minors did be my guest. If your Chinese and is here to have family fun then go to somewhere who doesn’t judge or care about your skin and actually have nice employees who doesn’t have an attitude just because we are Chinese.Instead of telling us that we are in the wrong even though we were the first in line LITERALLY TRYING TO GET CANDY?Please don’t visit and instead consider coming to a non racist and friendly park. -from a student who felt racism and ignored with there...
Read morePROS: rides and setup friendly for smaller kids, toddlers seem to have most fun. Many of the rides you can go on with your child if they are too small or afraid (if you are a larger person, you probably won't be able to fit most of the time). But most small rides kids can go on independently. Area is pretty small, hard to get lost. Good variety of rides and arcades, some snack shacks. CONS: equipment is quite outdated. Some straps that secure kids seem stretched but hopefully all safety reqs are up to date and under control. Staff could be nicer. Most rides they won't help your child in (not sure if this is the policy?) they'd be standing watching him/her struggle... so you must go in and help them, then retrieve them in the end which is FINE of course, but I just wish they'd say anything or maybe this was a clear policy for certain rides, because our first time we were not sure what to do. Prices!: the tickets are $4 for a single, $3.4 and less if you get a bundle. Many rides take 1 ticket PER RIDER. which means if you go on a ride with your child you will have to pay for yourself. So you are paying at least $8 for a few minutes. A Ferris wheel is 2 ticks per person, so it's $16 per ride with your child! You will be bleeding money there! Definitely teach your kids to be independent on rides so you will save LOL. rides are mostly for 32" - 40" tall kids. CDC requirements: yes it's loose not in NY, but you will see a lot of people without masks and it will be crowded, just be prepared. Staff wear masks. The place is not extra clean, but expected considering the outdoor nature. recommend to go either morning or towards the end to avoid biggest lines. It seems a couple of hours will be enough to get the...
