Five Below — Local services in New York

My daughters and I went to this location to buy a lot of gifts for children of various ages ranging from 1yr to teens and they had a lot to choose from we purchased stuffed animals, painting craft kits, cards, color stuffed animal kits, many different games and so much more. There’s a lot to choose from when buying in bulk and trying to save yet you aren’t getting gifts (toys) that are of less quality. I was upset that they didn’t have their online inventory of the store accurate so if you order online for pickup you may not get what you need which is very upsetting or if you look online to buy go to the store as I did and not find what you were expecting to find your stuck with wasting your time. I had to come up with something else for what I needed that they didn’t have. The first location the cashier was very nice and this location I did need help a worker helped me but couldn’t find what I needed looking for 3 different items. I would recommend this store my only complaint other than online inventory of stores is about this specific store compared to another location they charged me for every bag I used and the first location didn’t charge me for any bags and the gentlemen bagged many bags to fit everything and what this location in Bay Parkway did which was weird having charged me because they are the same store like me going to 2 targets or any other chain store should all be the same policy. Went again and was upset thought they got a shipment but they didn’t so again I had to find items replacing what I went there originally for, they definitely need to fix the online inventory it’s a blessing to know what they have not to waste time going to a store that I don’t live close to...

Overall we like this store, most of the staff are nice convenient location with lots of parking spots, however today I had an experience that is not so nice. I have a six years old daughter who is autistic, she has hard time understanding appropriate social cues like keeping distance from others, also she is a kid and that’s what kids do they run around. Today we went there to buy some toys, and there was an employee who is a lady organizing the shelf and my daughter stood too close to her for a short time checking out out some toys there and she walked through under the arms of the lady who was working, and the lady was pretty upset and turned to me said “ well she excused me!” with a negative attitude and I can see that she was impatient with my daughter. I understand that the lady might be upset for whatever reasons and having a rough day today, however it’s a toy store and lots of kids go there every day so everybody should be more Concerned of kids, that’s what kids do they run around cutting off people because they are exited to be there at the Five Below. I just came to the store looking for a wire that I needed for my phone. You guys did not have it in stock which is okay but when I got to check out the gentleman in the front told me how to do the self checkout and how to leave him a good review and tell them that I I found everything I was looking for. I did not find everything I was looking for he just wanted me to leave him a good review and he was pushy as heck. He told me to say there was no bags even though there was bags there and he did not want me to buy one. He would not allow me to purchase a bag in the front of the store. He was very pushy and would not move away from the counter when I was checking out at self-checkout and invaded my personal space I will not be shopping at this five below again due to the gentleman in the front that is by...
