The abandoned New York Central Railroad 69th Street Transfer Bridge was built in 1911. It was a dock for car floats used to transfer railroad cars across the Hudson River to the Weehawken Yards in New Jersey. It retired in 1968, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

I’m not entirely sure what this is or what it was for, I can assume it was something to do with a railroad or something such like. It’s a pretty cool thing whatever it is great place to take pictures and soak up the views, you can get some good shots here.
