my first impression was good nice set up looked nice and clean. employee appearance was good to great. i remember a few years back asking myself why don't they have a lounge here. and finally there is one lets see after covid how the place will change don't think the out side seating will exist. (unless the owner is willing to pay for the permit $$$). i do have to agree that the music was to loud would make conversation a challenge. i ordered the crab cakes over cooked which will make them dry presentation looked pleasant. 2nd order wings. over cooked and rubbery ( i have a few theories). 3rd order cheese Burger! cause i was not asked figured id make sure it was not well done lol to please make closer to medium well lol finally fries were great and burger was delicious!
i remember the Dj announcing welcome to code red something "fine dinning". with that in mind as a mental note. before i left went to the bathroom for a closer look. glancing at the kitchen set me up for a disappointment. the kitchen is not set up for fine dinning abilities. kitchen not set up for full-service.

I am so happy code red found a way to operate and provide a serve and jobs in the community at a most vital and needed time. Guys were enjoying themselves to drinks and music females dressed to impressed. taking selfies for IG . prices - i would compare with Applebee's (not happy hour prices). the out door seating while temporary would return for a drink or two and the burger for sure! moving forward. with out the out door seating would run inside for a burger if I am in the neighborhood.
Code Red while needs to improve on some food quality i wouldn't dismiss them totally. tip ask a friend have you tried this before you order. order what they've tried and liked before you take a gamble. Good place and hopefully a stepping stone for future eateries in a neighborhood ripe for the experience.

Read moreRestaurant business depends a lot on the quality of waiting staff service, they are the face of a restaurant. So, it is of utmost necessity to offer a great service to their guests. A good waiter always keeps checking on their table, from an adequate distance respecting the guest’s personal space. With that being said the waitress that waited on me and my coworkers did not show any of these qualities. She seemed ok as she took our order. After we got our food she barely came to check on us. She never asked us how everything was or if we needed anything else. After we were done and she collected our plates, we noticed that a lot of time had passed and the waitress had not passed by so we could ask for the check. We waited to see if she would come back but she didn't. I decided to get up to look for her and ask her to please bring us the check. Keep in mind it was around 4 pm with barely any customers. I think the only people dining were us and another table and they left earlier, so we were the only customers there besides those by the bar. When it was time to pay, we noticed that one of the orders was over charged. We brought it to the waitress attention and she apologized and said she would make the correction on the bill. As soon as she said that, we gave her the credit card and without making the correction she charges the credit card and while she charging it I'm saying "Aren't you suppose to make the correction on the bill first before you charge the card" and she ignored what I said and proceeded to charge the card. After she did that I asked her if she made the change on the bill before you charge the card and she acted as if she didn't just apologize and said she would make the correction on the bill. It was like she wanted to get away with the over charge on the bill. We were going to let it slide and avoid an issue but we just couldn't. It was just done so carelessly and the principle of the matter. We did get our money refunded but it was because we pressed the issue. I do want to say that the food was good. Unfortunately due to the poor service of the waitress I won't be returning. Also the temperature at the restaurant was not good. It was hot. Very little AC. They had ceiling fans but it was not helping with the heat. When we got up to leave not one staff member said "thank you for coming, hope you enjoyed yourselves". I went here with my friend for a late happy hour and we sat at the bar, and at first very thing was good bartender was cool Until i noticed one of the “customers” watching me and my friend from the corner of his eye i didn’t think anything of it because i just wanted to enjoy my night . My friend and i ordered two rum punches and some food and we were set because the rum punches were hitting us kinda quicker than usual . So a little after that i went to the bathroom (keep in mind i take all my belongings with me to the bathroom especially when i drink) so While i was using the restroom The bartender gave us another FREE drink and said it was on the house my friend accepted the drinks . so when i came back from the restroom i automatically thought my friend brought us more drinks . So as we are drinking our last drink i had to use the restroom again this time i didn’t take my bag when i came back from the bathroom My bag & the “customer” that was watching us from the corner of his eye was gone . So i expressed to the code red team that my bag was missing and asked to see the cameras they stated that they couldn’t show me the cameras because the manager wasn’t there and i would have to come back tomorrow. So at that point im getting frustrated and im telling them im not leaving until i see the cameras. The bartender says ima make a call to the customer to see . THE SAME “customer” arrived no later than 3 mins later with my purse saying “his mans had the purse” . I look inside my bag all my credit cards and cash were GONE ! And that same bartender left with that “customer” which left me to believe that they were all in on this scandal and this is what they do at code red ! The next morning i called and was trying to get in touch with the manager and they were giving me run arounds saying that the manager wasn’t busy and she’ll give me a call back i never got that call back . Save your money save your time these people are scammers and will do anything for some money .
