I contacted Anthony based off of the reviews posted and to support local business, unfortunately I was/am extremely disappointed. He made many promises that he did not deliver on, often going back on his word.

I had a flood on Christmas Day of 2022 and had been looking for contractors to fix my floors that had buckled. I decided to go with Lotus. Lotus was to rip up the affected flooring, place sub flooring, sand, fill gaps (knots with black fill), stain and refinish the entire floor with MATTE finish. It would not be until many months after until we finally got to work due to a whole bunch of personal issues and excuses.

Despite giving Anthony a few planks of the original floors to match, he came back with planks wider than those originally installed. They did a shallow cover of the gaps, with the black knots filled a different color and placed a satin coating on the floors. When I brought it their attention, Anthony said the refinished coat was not complete then they sanded off the Satin finish, leaving the floors bare appearing to be a matte finish.

After collecting payment and leaving, later that day, as I mopped to get the sanding dust off, I discovered the floors had no finish coating on them and began absorbing the water. I contacted Anthony immediately and he denied it despite leaving his workers to do the job that day and not being present until the end of the day to collect payment. I rushed to home depot to get those temporary floor rejuvenation products to avoid further damage.

The fillings became to crack and settle within a few days after saying the material allowed for flexibility and cracking wouldn't occur until 2 years later. Anthony said he would come back and assess and promised to refill and refinished the entire floors and then changing it spot/partial filling only.

It's really annoying to have to write all of this but I was very disappointed and Anthony never returned to refill or refinish the entire floors as promised. He dismissed any concerns. My husband and I contacted Lotus Flooring to installed hardwood floors for our rental unit in CT. Let me start by staying that we been completely satisfied from the initial contact with the company all the way through the installation. The rep was very knowledgable and patient. We communicated via telephone as well as text. This was extremely helpful since the property was 2 hours away and it was our first renovating. We could not agree on a color of the wood, so being able to forward pictures to the rep was very helpful.The rep advised us of the best choice and we made our decision and set up an installation date. The two man crew arrived the morning of the installation in the window of time promised. They immediately got to work. They were courteous and respectful through the whole process. They were very approachable since I had a million questions to asked. They cleaned up after themselves and did a walk through to make sure that we were satisfied. What I love the most about our experience was the ability to be apart of the process and the completion of the installation in a timely manner since we were press for time before our tenant moved in.
