I love to say I had a great experience at this location however this was not the case! When we first came in we had a great encounter with the sales rep Chris we thought he was an informative individual and honest however, as we started noticing this was not the case at all, Chris was very deceitful,unethical and very UNPROFESSIONAL.
It all started with our 1st delivery yes (1st) unfortunately the first sofa and loveseat we choose didn’t fit through the our apt front door entrance because of this issue we had to get new ones, with our first choice of sofas we purchase a lamp and end tables. However because of the sofas that didn’t fit we had to send the sofas, loveseat and end tables back. (We only stayed with our mattress and bed )upon me signing and informing Ashley furniture that everything was great we forget to send the lamp back to the warehouse when I informed the delivery guys at the time they informed me that they can’t except it since I signed off on it. (No problem) I’ll just go to the sales rep and explain to him the situation right? So later that day April 26th (Saturday) we went to the store to order our new sofa and loveseat and explain to him the situation, he and another gentleman confirmed verbally and nodded that I can send the lamp back once we receive the second delivery,we had to wait a whole month for our sofas since it was on back order (which we completely agreed with) so fast forward to May 31st when the 2nd delivery arrived the delivery guys informed us that they are not able to take the lamp because they are a third party company and there was no record of my sales rep CHRIS saying we can send the lamp back. I text him to informed him that the delivery drivers won’t take the lamp and he’s reply back was “Yea lamps are final sale no refund” I told him well the issue here is that you never informed me about this and you told me at the store that the delivery guys can take it back and his response was “I’m sorry for the inconvenience, generally speaking most accessories are final sale. I am not in today, unfortunately to assist on my end. Going through the guest services is the easiest way to resolve the issue they maybe be able to grant you a credit or refund” why not tell me this at the store when I first went to see you to change the original loveseat and sofas? Why give me the run around? YOU made a good sales commissions since we spends over 10k at your store.! I honestly feel he was just only interested in his commissions and nothing else. I work in hospitality and could never imagine treating anyone like this! So now I’m out of $150. And if they didn’t want to give me a refund I would have easily accepted a store credit or an exchange. And don’t ever bother contacting customer service they were unable to assist me or do anything for me. It was and still is a very frustrating situation! This is by far the worst customer service I have received in my life! I never write reviews but if you come near this store or this individual don’t walk but run! And to Ashley furniture corporate you as a company could do better with your customers! I will never buy from you guys again! Read moreIt has taken me a while to write this post. I went into Ashley excited to get my new couch. I was told about the price and the 169 fee for it not fitting through my door. Which I was in total agreement. Then the paper work started. I applied for the financing all that went through quickly and without a problem. But then I spent 2 and a half hours there because of various reasons. One was because they needed some kind of code and all of the managers and operations manager that they called either did not answer or did not know what to do. Then after about the second hour, the manager who was there says " oh it looks like this is going to need the 169 assembly fee twice because it's two pieces". They then said they would let know for sure the next day. No one ever told me, not that time or, the previous time that I would have to pay the 169 fee twice. Had I known that I would've taken my time and shopped around. The next day an assistant manager called me and she was VERY rude. I don't remember her name I know she had a short cut. She told me, I infact was going to have to pay the fee twice. And I told her I would not have agreed to buy the couch had I known that upfront, and I was not sure if I still wanted the couch. She then said "well you already applied for financing so it's going to be difficult to get a couch anywhere else". It was rude and honestly very DISGUSTING. She was rude and she was very disgusting. Ashley furniture is a huge corporation and they could've waived on of those fees for my inconvenience of 1. Spending 2 and a half hours there on a Thursday after work and 2. Not telling me upfront about the fee being charged twice. I went ahead and continued with the order because my husband wanted the couch. Honestly I regret it and will NEVER be shopping at this Ashley's again. Customer service is NOT their number 1 priority. I worked in customer service and stores for many years and I know for a fact that Ashley's could've definitely compensated me for my inconvenience. To add fuel to the fire they offered to give me 12 month financing instead of 6. I'll be done paying it in 4 or less so I did not need the financing. Stay away from this store the managers are DISGUSTING and do not care about their customers. I finally moved into my new home and was so excited to buy my new couch this location and their managers made my experience terrible and honestly whenever I look at the couch I'm reminded of it. Stay far away from this place. Their sales people however are AMAZING! Jojo was AMAZING and is the ONLY reason I bought from this store and did not go to the green acres location to order the same couch. I and my family have ordered many things from Raymour and Flanigan and they go above and beyond to make their customers happy. I will be paying off this couch then giving it away. I'm so disgusted my this place and how they run business. Do yourself the favor and do not shop here. Raymour's quality is much better...
Read moreThis is really sad because I usually don’t write reviews or dare to take money out of someone’s pockets or food out of their mouth. Let me start by saying this review is not towards Hector at all. He is actually one of the most genuine human beings I have ever met. I realized the others just want to make a quick buck. They do not care about you. Once they got your money and they made a sale and get their commission, they automatically have a “who gives a damn about the customer” attitude. No one returns your phone calls or texts (I have proof). First of all I felt uncomfortable by the stares I was getting from some of the employees in the store. I brought a furniture bed set for my mom and Hector was sweet enough to deliver it for her. I ordered two mattress. One for me and one for my mother. I got promised word that they would come “early”. My building only allows delivery from 1:00pm-4:00pm. THEY LITERALLY TOLD ME THEY WERE GOING TO DELIVER MY FURNITURE BETWEEN 1:00pm-4:00pm BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO RESPECT MY BUILDING TIME WINDOW. I was told they were coming early to deliver my mattress. I called customer service (not someone from the store) at 3:50pm and they said they spoke to the driver and that they’re in front of my building. I rushed downstairs at 3:54pm in which they were not even downstairs. THEY SHOWED UP AT 4:16PM WITH BOTH MATTRESSES AND I HAD TO END UP PAYING $100.00 FEE FOR INCONVENIENCE FOR THE OTHER TENANTS BECAUSE THEY DELIVERED MY MATTRESSES PASSED THE RESPECTED TIME WINDOW. THE DELIVERY GUYS HAD EVEN THE NERVE TO WAIT FOR A TIP! I had order a mattress cover which is on my receipt and NEVER even received it. At this point, I just want a refund for it. I really don’t want to go back to this store. When it comes to me your word is everything. This store does not stay true to their word. Only Hector did. Just be prepared to walk in a store where there is wolves in sheep’s clothing. I thought I would have a good experience but no I didn’t. I feel lied to for some money. There was no honesty. I know everyone needs money but I wouldn’t act genuine and then lie to people just to get it. I will be spreading word.
UPDATE: I ORDERED A MATTRESS COVER IN WHICH I HAVE PROOF I NEVER RECEIVED. I HAVE A VOICEMAIL OF THEM OFFERING ME A REFUND AND ITS THE NEW YEAR AND I STILL NEVER RECEIVED A REFUND OR AN UPDATED RECEIPT. I JUST REALLY...
