I recently had the worst experience with BMW of Bayside, particularly with their financial services department. When I initially visited the dealership, I was promised a range of services from my sales agent for buying a BMW Certified Vehicle. At the time of purchase (12/9/24) the offer included additional perks on top of the standard Certified perks, and was advertised on their website: 4.99% APR on models 2019-2022 BMW Certified Vehicles and No Payments for 3-months from the time of purchase, along with assistance with securing the best financing options. However, once I signed on the dotted line, those promises turned into nothing but empty words.
Their financial advisor was not only unhelpful but also resorted to aggressive tactics to push their extended warranty product right before I signed, and when I refused, she aggressively and disrespectfully attempted to convince my wife instead despite my clear disinterest - which was clearly a sales gimmick than a beneficial service. When she finally accepted my clear “no.”, I signed the deal and took the car home only to find more problems - e.g. the car’s Data Privacy setting does not appear to be working correctly even though this was tested and certified by BMW.
When I contacted them to inquire about this and to find out why my payments are due in a month and not 3-months, which was initially promised, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. Encapsulated by the advisor's cold remark, "you didn’t bring it up any of these problems before signing, so there’s nothing I can do about it now". I was absolutely shocked when I received this message from a BMW employee!
This experience has left a sour taste, highlighting a significant discrepancy between what was advertised and what was actually delivered. I would strongly caution anyone considering BMW of Bayside to be wary of their financial services and the integrity of their commitments...

I reached out first this weekend via the website chat (I believe it was Emily), who passed me along to Chris Anant to discuss. I had a few electronic interactions with Chris (message and email), and we traded a few phone calls. Chris was able to provide a 2-6 month rough estimate for an order, and then set up an appointment for me to come in.
The in-person appointment went very well (resulting in a sale!). Chris was totally responsive to the few questions I had, and we did a test drive, which I appreciated. I was not rushed at any point, and also never felt I was waiting around. I am very happy with how the face-to-face appointment went; I was treated at all times by Chris as a highly-valued client. That’s hard to find these days, and I appreciate that level of service.
Following up as I’ve now taken delivery (3 months from the day I ordered the car). Tracking through the production and transport process was pretty good, giving a good sense of the ultimate timing. The final paperwork (including my trade-in) upon picking up the car was very easy and quick. No annoying hard upsells; I was treated professionally and with utmost respect throughout.
The car (BMW M850i) was delivered exactly to my spec, and has been perfect (in the first few days of ownership).

Once I found the car I wanted, the financing process was also incredibly easy. The finance team was upfront and transparent about all the costs involved, and they helped me find a financing option that worked within my budget. They explained everything clearly and never made me feel rushed or pressured.
Russ - Their BMW Genius walked me through the X4 M40i and all its features, this is the first time a dealer has taken the time to teach the car to me, many just say here it is, go read the manual.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with BMW of Bayside and the entire team there. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase, and I felt like they genuinely cared about my experience.
