This is the worst furniture purchasing experience I’ve ever had. They were extremely backed up with deliveries and stock, when my bed set finally came it was missing a piece that they weren’t going to tell me about. I had to go to the store and speak with the manager who couldn’t care less about it in which he stated it appeared to have broken in the warehouse and they didn’t communicate that to them.. like really? So i asked when will it be delivered snd he stated he set s delivery date for the following week. The following week & day gets here, i call out if work & guess what? No delivery. I AGAIN went to the store, spoke with the manager who couldn’t care less and said the date was never set. What do you mean??? I was so annoyed over how much the manager didn’t care and set a new delivery date. The dresser eventually gets delivered and mind you i still don’t have my mattress, we ordered the whole bedroom set new mattress and all. The representative that helped us called and stated they had a delivery date for the mattress the following week, i missed the called so when i called back in half hour, he stated the delivery dates were taken & now i have to wait until may. Okay.. fine. So now as if we haven’t been through enough with this place, the mattress finally gets here and the delivery people asked where our foundation / box spring was.. I’m like they never sold us one. WITH ALL THE STUFF WE BOUGHT THEY DID NOT INCLUDE A FREAKING FOUNDATION LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME. So i went BACK to the store, spoke with the manager, Remember him? Who doesn’t care? Yea well as if he didn’t care less before he didn’t even handle the situation he referred me to the sales specialist that sold me the set and mattress who Ofcourse did nothing to accommodate me. Read moreThe best experience hands down from the minute myself and family walked through the door and greeted by the front staff to meeting Daniel who was waiting at the front to introduce himself and help us find what we were looking for. Daniel made us feel at home and comfortable, professional, knowledgeable and at the same time down to earth and considerate of our needs. Those needs being an adjustable bed and mattress for my father who I care for, also an automatic lift recliner. My teenage daughter also needed a new bed. Daniel walked us through all the options all the while keeping our Individual needs in mind, from the comfort for my daughter to the safety for my dad. Also then expediting a smooth and convenient delivery process. Furthermore, Daniel introduced all financial/payment options to me including Acima lease to own option. The employees at Acima who are on site in store which was very convenient were also beyond professional, knowledgeable and made my experience a quick no nonsense smooth and stress free process. I am a prior Bobs customer over the years, I have in more recent years purchased elsewhere. However, I’ve got to say, I am pleased with the new Staten Island location and all of its employees and management I’ve met today 3/4/21. I will be coming back to see Daniel for any of my furniture needs and will be recommending him and the Staten Island Bobs to my friends and family. We are looking forward to...
Read moreI went into the store to purchase a new living room set. I was greeted by Ken who at first seemed very nice. I was told by him the store does "free financing" so I figured why not. After giving him my social and information to be used for "free financing", I receive an email with the terms and conditions of my new BOBS credit card. I was absolutely stunned and when I confronted him and told him I never agreed to a credit card nor did I want one, he said "oh well the damage is done". At NO point did he tell me I was signing up for a credit card and at NO point did I even agree to a terms and conditions he did it all on his own. He committed fraud and when I spoke to the manager Justin he told me "there's nothing I can do" so now of course I have to deal with my credit score being tampered with because the store makes employees get people to apply for credit cards. At no point did anyone apologize for what he did or at least say it was unethical of him. I would definitely not recommend Ken. I have already reported his fraudulent actions with the federal trade commissions along with Wells Fargo and unless the situation is made right I will keep reporting it.
