Broadway Junction — Attraction in New York

One of the more annoying stations in the system. Almost a handful of the people here lack a sense of courtesy and manners and will get obnoxious, rude and physically confrontational with you for something minor such as not moving out of their way down the escalator.Then again you’re in “that part” of Brooklyn which is another reason why i personally don't use these routes here that much because it’s so stress inducing.But of course the transplant hipsters, yuppies and a select few locals love it so much because to them its their “Cultural aesthetic” and entertainment. As for the train service it’s way below mediocre. A trains always take more then 20 mins to show up and crawl a lot between stops. The C is just downright slow to the point where it’s already packed to the brim when they arrive. The J’s another time strainer especially when you see it taking its sweet time coming from Alabama ave which by the way uses the dirty old cars from the C.And as for the L? It functions a bit well but until 2019 hits and it gets shut down for the Canarsie tube closure this is one station you’d probably want to avoid especially if you’re coming and going...

I have been taking this train for seriously I think my entire life. Even though a police station is located inside the station this place is still not a place I would be caught at in the middle of the night. The only upgrades is the when the train is coming hanging signs but they are at the beginning of the platform on the A track. So basically if your standing near the middle of the track your lost. Still have all types of vendors outside selling stuff, you have sketchy taxi guys trying to solicit you for rides and the place don’t have an elevator for handicap people. This is a junction hub?...

I seen a disabled guy with walking sticks in each arm nearly kill himself trying to get up the stairs when he got off of the A train. I asked him if he needed help, and he said yes. He asked me to just hold his bag and stand behind him as he tried to make it up. Absolutely ridiculous. This station underseves and underdelivers to its most vulnerable to transport riders. Shame on them....
