Words cannot express how thankful we are to Nora, Carolina, and the staff at Studio 17 Bushwick for making our FIRST Girl Scout "Graduation Ceremony" a resounding success!

Blessed Sacrament Girl Scout Troops 2389/2568/2835 were happy to come together, not just to celebrate the Daisies/Brownies/Juniors/Cadettes/Seniors who were bridging to the next level in Girl Scouts, but we also had the privilege to celebrate four young ladies who were bridging from Ambassadors to Adults - effectively graduating from our Girl Scouting Program under Girl Scouts of Greater New York. These young ladies have dedicated up to 13 years to Girl Scouting and have been friends/sisters to each other through the majority of this journey. We consider these graduating girls our "CORE" - our troops' Girl Scouting program was built upon their ongoing participation and they have set a wonderful example for their Girl Scout Sisters coming up behind them - doing their "best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and responsible for what I say and do, and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout" just as the Girl Scout Law deems they should.

The decorations were IMPECCABLE and BEAUTIFULLY DONE - far exceeding our expectations! Nora really brought the vision together, we just had to add a few personal touches when we arrived (a banner and a picture addition to the table centerpieces). It was really an elegant and elevated affair - just what we were looking for! Nora and the staff at Studio 17 Bushwick treated all of our guests with respect and professionalism second to none. Nora was extremely responsive to all questions and requests - I was happy to have a partner like her in planning this event. She really matched my own level of organization which was super helpful. Contract signing and payment schedule was super easy. And I received my security deposit back almost immediately after our event was over.

This place is the best place that I’ve never seen before. I had my baby shower here this year on May 26, and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything went very well, and I don’t think if I went somewhere else I would have a nice baby shower like that. Now, I can’t wait for my baby to be 1 year old just to go back there to celebrate her 1st birthday, and I already know I will have another baby shower there for my second baby. My guests are telling me that if I don’t go there for my baby's 1st birthday or for my next baby shower, they’re not coming lol because they love this place so much. I’m so in love with this place. The first time I went there to visit it, it felt like I was in heaven because of how beautiful it was. All my guests keep asking me, "How did I find that place?" and I tell them, "Well, I found Studio 17 event space on Google when I was searching for the nicest place in Brooklyn, New York, for a baby shower, and it came up. I found so many other places, but I didn’t see them as the nicest places for a baby shower. It was God who helped me find this place, because God knows I love beautiful things. If someone is looking for a nice place to have a baby shower, wedding, birthday party, etc., contact Studio 17 Event Space, and you will never regret it, just like me. Nara was the one who helped me with everything. She has a lot of patience, and she knows how to decorate. She was the one who decorated the place for me, and I can say I had nothing to complain about when I went there for my baby shower. I honestly don’t mind writing more than 100 paragraphs about my experience at this place because it was the best day ever for me. My guests are still telling me it’s the first time they've gone to a baby shower like this. DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE! AND DO NOT PAY WITH ZELLE-you will not get your money back! This has, by far, been the worst experience with any venue. The manager, Nora, initially gives off a very positive attitude but her true colors were shown when a refund was requested after she failed to provide timely communication regarding Covid mandates. She, however, never failed to send reminders of the monies that were upcoming and due. In addition to her lack of communicating important information and allowing us as the client to lose out on less money, she allowed us to continue to put down payments and installments down (a total of $1400), she then provided illegal suggestions, such as having guests bring false Covid vaccine cards because she only was required to “look at copies”. Nora then became upset and a horrendous person when we refused to continue to have the event with her, and told her that she would be reported and reviews would be posted if she didn’t do the right thing and at least provide some reimbursement. After weeks that turned to months of back and forth emails, Nora agreed to providing 50% refund of the 75% down payment that we had placed for services we never got, and an event that was never had but wanted ANOTHER sketchy contract to be signed where everywhere stated that we were not entitled to a refund. When she was confronted with the wording of the contract, and asked to include an addendum of the reimbursement that was agreed upon, Nora stopped answering emails-and ultimately no reimbursement was given. Needless to say, the experience has been stressful to an expectant mother who was trying to gather her most intimate loved ones, and we were CONNED and SCAMMED by Nora and this venue during a most sensitive time for the country as a whole as we try to understand and live...
