I was looking forward to getting my first professional massage…When I called to book the appointment I expressed how I wanted a female therapist and shared why and the receptionist confirmed for the next day, with a Female therapist and confirmed my information including my email, phone number and debit card information and she repeated it back along with lateness/cancellation policy. Immediately received an email to confirm etc. The morning of the appointment (the next day) I went in 30 minutes early as suggested. Receptionist waited around 3 minutes to greet me because she’s gossiping on the phone to a coworker about another coworker. Red flag. Also the casual manner talking to a client also waiting. . Finally greets me and then asks me to fill out paper work. At 11:05 ish a male therapist comes out and says he will see me. I said I requested a female and was confirmed a female for the message. The male therapist says he was asked to see me instead. Receptionist said she tried to call me with no answer to tell me my therapist was sick and wouldn’t be making it…I told her I never received a call only texts, including this morning to confirm. I HAD just made appointment the afternoon before! They put down an incorrect phone number… even though I had been receiving texts messages to confirm. So how did they get the texts correct but when they “called me” it was incorrect? AND why make me wait 30 minutes to tell me that the therapist that I had scheduled with wasn’t going to be in?! They tried to just casually without any prior acknowledgment of letting me know, have me see another therapist..I shouldn’t have to see a male therapist if that’s what I didn’t request. I asked for an immediate refund due to lack of professionalism and first time perception of the environment. Will be asking for my personal information to be deleted from their database once I receive my refund. Just a...
Read moreI had a terrible experience here with the acupuncture service. I have never had acupuncture before. I scheduled acupuncture & a massage. The acupuncturist said we usually don’t include “this” for the Groupon but I will give it to you. She then hooked up electricity to the needles, turned on the machine & left the room! The needles were burning a little but I had no idea what it was supposed to feel like. Fast forward a couple weeks the pain in my neck & arm I came to get help with increased exponentially. It feels like some sort of nerve damage. To top it off, the service was terrible by employees at all levels, front desk to the acupuncturist were so lazy & disorganized they left me in the room for over 20 minutes past my start time. I had to go out and inquire. They both blamed me & said the acupuncturist didn’t know I was there because “I closed the door” That’s so ridiculous and lazy & unorganized. I had to do massage first. The massage was a 4 at best. It’s been a couple months or so since I went & in last 2 weeks the constant NEW pain has subsided a little. I’m going to get checked out and hope this isn’t permanent damage that I have to sue over. Needless to say Do NOT go here. Maybe for a massage. I don’t know if I just got a bad masseuse. But definitely do not got for acupuncture. They don’t know what they are doing & you could be injured like I was. The only positive is the employees were nice. But the actual services...
