*This is a comprehensive review after more than 10 classes and several socials.
CacheStudios currently is one of the finest salsa establishments for several reasons I will list and can personally attest to.
â Fundamentals are prioritized in the education, there is a system in place so the results are replicable. Concepts are repeated until standardized amongst fellow students so as to create a base to build upon.
â Proper placement of levels and consideration to each (beginner-intermediate-advanced)
â Always clean environment (soap and paper towels hand sanitizers at almost every window etc) with the owner himself coming around sometimes offering hand sanitizer.
â The studio is a safe environment in the salsa community with all age ranges and no elitism in its underbelly. A really fun learning environment. It is well lit, really large, street parking is easy outside and the results are showing in the amount of patrons who are loyal repeat customers with new faces every time I go.
âłïž Bonus for beginners: I recently attended a beginner class and was fortunate to stay for a âpractice partyâ something Iâve never seen before. In essence the head instructor guides you into a âdance socialâ through some dance games under similar social setting and makes the experience a more comfortable transition into free form dancing which is often very scary for a beginner(as it was for me). I thought this was a really courteous idea and represented the thoughtfulness in each levels struggle and the resources he has to help them.
This business is really well run from the top all the way down the chain of command. I have recommended 3 friends to start their journey here, and I would highly recommend you to do the same. If you are in the Bronx area and salsa is in your veins come here first if you want to be a smooth competent...

Read moreI had an absolutely wonderful time at Caché Dance Studio in the Bronx. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and full of energy. The instructor, Juan Portela, is truly an amazing teacher. He has this incredible way of making every class both fun and technical. He breaks down the steps so that you really feel like you know what you're doing, and he's patient enough to go over everything until it clicks. By the end of just one hour, I was amazed to find that I had learned the entire dance. If you're looking for a place to dance and grow, Caché Dance Studio is...
