I was so hyped that a stoned location pizza had opened up in the Bronx. I was completely disappointed. I made sure to pre-order my delivery for Saturday at 6 pm 3 days in advance just to make sure there were no slip ups. This was supposed to be a celebratory dinner for myself and a few friends. The time for delivery passed and contacting the business was difficult. No one picks up the phone and it goes straight into a voicemail prompt. After waiting for a bit I had to reach out to them through Instagram. Someone reached back out to me within the next 20 minutes (No one had ever introduced themselves so I have no names to give) to find out what was happening. I gave them my order number that I received through my order confirmation which was emailed to me 3 days prior and he said it wasn't in the system. I received apologies which is fine and all, but I needed a solution to this issue and quickly. The person that never introduced themselves on the phone told me that unfortunately it would have to be another 2 hours until my delivery. As annoyed as I was, I said fine but I did have to change the address because I was leaving work. I received a new email and confirmation order over 40 minutes later, further delaying the delivery time. So now the estimated time for delivery is about 9:30- 9:40. Half an hour before I am supposed to have the food delivered at the newly adjusted time, I receive another text saying that the food will be further delayed to 11:00- 11:30 due to heavy traffic and their driver getting into an accident earlier. Well, if the driver got into an accident earlier, why wasn't any of this said to me beforehand? Do you have only one delivery driver? If that had already set your time frame back earlier, why is that affecting me with my already late delivery? There was no way I was going to wait for the even prospect of eating dinner at that time. At that point, I lost faith in the business. Honestly, you guys could have placed my delivery in an Uber and it would have been here sooner. The person I was in contact with apologized again and said I can come in for pickup the following day and would have to wait until 2 pm to make yet another order. Absolutely defeated the purpose of a preset delivery and it's my day off where I finally didn't have to be responsible for anything or anyone else. The last thing I wanted to do on my day off is have to drive deeper into the Bronx further away from home and deal with people that don't know how to drive. I wanted to have a good meal with my friends and relax. The customer service, as well as the ability to get in contact with the business was subpar. If I do ever plan to give this place a chance again, it won't be anytime soon. Really...
Read moreThis is a hidden gem, literally. I passed it several times before seeing the location and security sitting outside.
We parked around the corner and had to pay the meter $1.50 for the hour. It kept forcing us to download the app and add $25 to park when we aren't even NY residents and don't intend on coming back. Glad we had coins.
In front of the building, a gentleman is sitting outside and has to punch in a code to let you in.
Once in, you smell exactly where you are 😊. There were several TVs playing sports and they were blaring old-school rap, I loved it. 2 people were working there, the cook and the person who takes your order and delivers it to you. Everything is about $10 and we pretty much had to try everything.
The soda they open and infuse it for you. The chicken wings (BBQ) were really good, nice and big, crunchy and the sauce was good. The pizza was OK, had a sweet taste to it, wasn't my favorite. The garlic knots were good, the flavor was on point. We also had the icy which is infused as well. The table was prepped for you to relax, rolling tray and ashtray along with parmesan cheese, chili flakes, oregano, and pepper.
The food and experience was good. I didn't wall out feeling the way I anticipated but it was still an overall fun and...
Read moreIf you're looking for the entrance, follow the graffiti. Prices are pretty decent for what you're getting. Gelato, slushie, garlic knots, and a slice are $10 each. Drumsticks being $30 for 6(split between 2 people we got 4 and 4 👀❤️)...... Drumsticks were 10/10 WITHOUT THE SAUCE. They offer Buffalo or BBQ sauce, which, due to dietary restrictions, i can't have. Thankfully, the infusion is cooked into the food, not sitting in the sauce, so I ordered plain drumsticks, and boy did they hit in every way. It's not every day you find a place with good plain chicken, lol. I also split a slushie and gelato cup(chocolate, mango, coconut, AND birthday cake in one cup. Which is on brand pothead behavior, lol.)
The vibe itself is like a regular pizzeria where you're able to smoke and play board games while you eat. The place isn't hazy either from the smoke, which is nice. The playlist is like 90s early 2000s rap, and it's not too loud that you can't hear the people you're with. Only down side is....its the size of a regular pizzeria lol. Maybe 5-6 tables in the place. Definitely gonna be a regular place to go.
As a side note I am a heavy smoker and noticed my highs cruising throughout the night. I didn't really need to smoke again omw home or...
