Let me start by saying chicka does good work BUT I’ve had better..

For starters I got “spring twists” on January 10th(my birthday) ..because chicka wanted to change the appointment last minute which was suppose to be for the 9th.... not only did I not get upset but I also did not say anything when she was 30-45 mins late for the appointment

Now I get my hair done .. and we both discussed that my hair is soft and would need to be crocheted in so IT WOULD NOT SLIP .. However by the time chicka got to the front of my head she STOPPED Crocheting and just started to attach the hair by braiding it first (again we discussed that would not work for my texture hair)because she was running out of time .. at this point .. I am now helping her do my hair (with no complaints)

The next day comes and my hair started to slip out of multiple twist.. so I send her a message asking if she could fix them before falling out... PLEASE NOTE I TRAVELED FROM QUEENS ...and She said that I could come in that day to get it fixed ..so I traveled to bk and waited ..and waited ...and waited ..and waited ..and waited ...and waited...and waited .. until I had to text her again to confirm in which her response was SHE FORGOT (pics of the convo and hair will be posted)

Soo again .. I try to reach out for a time that’s best ... but instead she read my messages (had her read receipts on) and IGNORED THEM .. so much so I’m basically stalking her to fix the FRONT of my head.... I do admit there so a point where I misread a text she sent but nonetheless ignoring clients who PAID money Is unacceptable ... and regardless of what Happen she is running a business and customer service KEY ...apparently she lost her purse ... .. which I did not know about until I had to keep texting her to find out .. but still I paid money for my hair ...imagine paying for a service and your hair starts falling out the NEXT DAY ....and now I must wait for her to be able to CONCENTRATE to fix my hair ..that I PAID for ...on top of her failing to give me a day to come in -_-... what if I walked in the shop ..DIDNT PAY...and told her she has to wait to get her money ..foh

The twists fell out ... and had to get someone else to fix it

DO BETTER ...DO NOT IGNORE CLIENTS ..if you are ...TURN OFF READ RECEIPTS GENIUS!

She always to work with her and she will work with you .. BUT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO WORK WITH SOMEONE WHO IS...

I should have left this review a long time ago. I've been going to Ms. Diana for years. And she's always taken care of my hair. This last time I called to see when both me and my mom could schedule an appointment and Ms Diana was available to see us both on short notice on a Friday afternoon! I had a "Wash and Set" and Mom had a "Dry Cut".

Mom is VERY particular, but Ms. Diana was great! She did exactly what mom asked for in her style and more! It was a layered short cut with waves on one side. She has thin hair but the way Ms Diana styled it, her hair looked so much fuller and voluminous.

On to me... I have problem hair (very thin with a bit of balding) but Ms Diana trimmed off the dead ends. Gave me a wash, gave me advice and tips to help with the balding, put me in the rollers, and I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE SHE DID, but by the end my hair was sparkling I loved the style and you couldn't see any baldness! As always, she hooked up our hair.

And I really like going to Ms Diana because she will do your hair plus you will leave out that chair encouraged, calm, and in a good mood for the rest of the day. You can see she loves what she does, she loves people, she loves God. And I always recommend my family and...

I got my locs done the beginning of the week and I honestly couldn’t be more disappointed. The appointment started off good but when she started doing my hair I had to tell her multiple times that she’s twisting my hair too tight. And it’s Thursday now and my hair is still sticky and heavy from the amount of gel she used in my hair. 2 different people felt my hair and told me that it was extremely sticky so I know I’m not bugging. I can’t even run my fingers through my hair without feeling the residue of the gel. My hair never felt this heavy and sticky with my usual stylist so I know this isn’t how much hair is supposed to feel. And some of the locs in the front are already unraveling. Can’t say that I’ll...
