I visit this park almost everyday and it’s wonderful since the renovation. If you come in the early morning or afternoon before school gets out it’s perfect. The swings are updated and very nice. The toys they leave out for the children is wonderful. Once the kids get out from school I would suggest staying away if your kid can’t walk or run around just yet. Only complaint is caregivers and parents need to watch their kids more carefully. Most caregivers and parents are on their phones not paying attention while their children wreak havoc all over the playground. For those with infants or toddlers it’s hard to come and relax here after school. It’s gets crowded and the children misbehave without any repercussions from their adults. Sometimes a new toy will be placed out in the morning and by the time the kids get out from school the toys will be destroyed and the offending children’s parents don’t seem to care. My suggestion is come early and avoid after school. Wonderful children’s park overall.

This is a very clean, well-manicured and spacious park, especially given the neighborhood that it's in. There are multiple play structures for varying ages, swings, plenty of places to sit and tables if you want to eat. It looks like they have a fountain area that is used in the warmer months that allow kids to play in the water.

Clean, spacious, and fun. Swing set with various types of swings, climbing area for younger kids and one for older kids. Fountain area for the summer. I’ve seen people host birthday parties here.

While currently under renovation, I visited when it wasn't. It's in the Chelsea area of lower Manhattan and was once part of the estate of Clement Clarke Moore (who wrote the Night Before Christmas). Definitely worth a visit...
