DICK'S Sporting Goods — Attraction in New York

I was pretty upset at first. Tall guy in the front with glasses is SUPER RUDE. Found sneakers online, proceeded to go to store for my size and it said THERE WAS 1 left on the website. I went up to the front and asked them if the price on the online site will match the price in the store. The lady I was checking out with said yes, they rang up the wrong price. I proceeded to show her the online store website price and the tall man with glasses next to her nearly bit my head off, saying they can't match the price because there was none in stock. Meanwhile I was holding the sneakers in my hand and I came there because the website said there was one left. Customer service is about listening and he clearly didn't learn that thus far so he probably never will so just beware that you will probably experience something very similar if you need his assistance or help. I am ONLY GIVING a 5 STAR review because the issue was resolved by the gentleman who helped me obtain the sneakers in the back of the store. His name is JOEL AND THANKS TO HIM I WILL CONTINUE TO SHOP THERE. BELIEVE ME BEWARE OF THE TALL MAN WITH GLASSES IN THE FRONT. Not a great place. Unreliable. An item was purchased to be delivered on the same day and for whatever reason it never made it to me. I decided to go to the store and pick it up the following on the following say. On that morning I spoke to a staff member and they confirmed that the cleats were there, they would put them aside since I would go in and get them. Why I get to the store and my purchase is no where to be found? First the employee says that someone put them back since they were not picked up and someone purchased the item. I’m like what! That was already purchased by me, how was that purchased by someone else if you had told me you had it in your hands and you would have it aside for the pick up? Point is, I waited about 40 mins trying to figure out what to do since my daughters first game was on the next day. I needed those cleats. They had no other pare and they tried bringing me others to purchase. I had called another store an hour away, about to head out to get the same cleats I wanted for my child, comes the staff member with the box telling me “ Here they are.” I feel like once they noticed I was really upset and worried, they made the effort to analyze what they were doing. We went into the fitting room and right of the bat the staff says "you can only have 5 garmets, so uh you should put those away." And then she says only one person is allowed in the room, and that makes it VERY DIFFICULT to ask for opinions from fellow family members. The staff then proceed to tell us to take out some clothes as though we are going to steal it while the Changing room is in the center of the store. Then when my siblings come in the staff say that only one person allowed and that I am not listening, WHILE she is talking over me. She then proceeds to complain to the MY group and tells us what we should be doing in a arragont manner. We call over the manager and he says he's sorry. Probably the nicest person in the shop. When we are on line to return some clothes the staff decides to tell us the same exact thing rudely and walks away while I'm talking to her. Over all The staff are super rude and arragont. They were even telling me how I should take care of other people. I do not recommend going there. I will not be shopping at Dick's...
