Terrible customer service. The MANAGER does not care about their employees AT ALL. I’ve never seen or heard a terrible manager at all in my life. She makes up lies to get people fired. Scheduling them for days but telling them not to come in and saying they “called out”. On top of that, even if you show receipts that she’s lying, that just gets her more mad on top of that. She refused to provide proof on her end. Heaven forbid you tell her she’s wrong and she’s trying to put lies on your record thus wasting your time. She just cursed out her employees and is extremely racist and inappropriate. Dollar tree do a better job in hiring managers because Marlese or however you spell her name is not for that job. Setting employees up and then cursing at them is completely disrespectful and disappointing. Careful if they hire you because they’ll lie about calling you to come in BUT NEVER ACTUALLY CALL, writing in your record you refused to come. No one should have to work in an environment like that. Beware when you guys go here because the manager Marlese is extremely rude and will fight over any little thing. Be kind to your employees MARLESE and...
Read moreThis store is 75% better than my last two visits; the store had all but ONE item on my list & store was relatively clean with stock cleared from aisles. I am a very big fan of Dollar Tree and only shop in for cards, cleaning products and holiday supplies/treats. Now, on the downside, handicap parking is a not clearly marked and has never been respected any time I visited. Parking is dangerous here and I’ve witnessed fights over spots and near collisions with people backing into Rockaway Blvd. Also, very poor manager skills displayed today by a reactionary individual who needs to practice or learn “people skills”. She was about 40yrs old and quick with her back-talk; I nearly walked out and left $50.00 worth of merchandise on the belt. I will never understand WHY a cashier with a line stop to blow up EIGHT balloons, when a manager can step in and deal with this customer and allow the cashier to work to reduce the line. I’ve seen this happen In several Dollar Tree stores...
Read moreI would like to complain about the supposed manager named Catherine. She has the worst leadership skills I have ever seen. I was just buying things for my children to celebrate easter. There was a huge line and I was next. As the cashier named Kevin started to ring up my items, Catherine came of no where and told Kevin to close out his register "right now". While in the middle of taking care of me. She wanted another person to ring me up. He said that he couldn't because he was in the middle of ringing. She started yelling at him. Saying he was being disrespectful. She just kept on trying to humiliate him. It was awful. All the while he was quiet and kept ringing.
Kevin is a sweet heart and I feel bad for him to have to endure that level of unprofessionalism. I give this store 3 stars because of him. I would have given 5 stars but Catherine made a mockery of herself and her leadership skills. Why would you let her be the...
