The squwre is in a great location and we must support all public spaxes and better fund and staff public parks and gatgering places, as opposed to stand by while illegal DOGE, Trump, Musk, the Trump Administration, and their wealthy campaign contribhtirs and lobbyists on the beyond far right rip the systems that have insufficently given a lifelije to workers in the richest nation on the world. Most government agencies shoukd receive more funding and staff, save the CIA, FBI, Metro Police (now a massive collection of frderal officers, NATION-WIDE and a few others who now have no accountabilty and get sistirning funding. There were great people there, but 6,000 people is anabominable number for MAYDAY 2025 (International Worker's Day) in NYC, which has an estimated population of 7.93 millin in a state of roghly 20 millions people It'sExponentiallymore agregious considering Project 2025, Trump, Musk, Ilegal DOGE, the GOP, and the extremelywaelthy far right contingent has gone full-blown, Mask-Off Fascist. Chicago has a population of roughly 2.6 million and the CTU (Chicago Teacher's Union) helped organize 250,000 people, 1/10th of that city's entire population. That is still jot enough in my opinion, however, in the brutal empire, it's quite an accomplishment and if we all matched that, it would crush fascism and bring more actual democracy, accountable and leaps and bounds more direct. When you do wake up, if its not already too late to stop fascism, ORGANIZE! And if fascism takes root, OTGANIZE. Connect with people and open up safe and underground lines of communication and support. Begin organizing for mutual aid and a GENERAL STRIKE for dignity and a decent life for everyone in their country, every worker Workers of thebWorld, UNITE!!!!!!!

Hermosos edificios, con mucha arquitectura. Lastimosamente fui en una época de mucho frío, pero no podía dejar de conocer estos lugares tan maravillosos.

This whole area is a gr8 spot for tourists and big apple-ites alike. U have gorgeous architecture just from those court buildings, let alone the rest of the visible skyline. An awesome lil park right across the street that has some beautiful art installations. The 'Triumph of The Human Spirit memorial' jumps into view first, it's sleek black curves and height give it gr8 contrast to its surroundings. Then u have a newer installation, one of my personal favs, 'Seeds', aka '13 Moons'. They're basically long dead stumps/roots from the Peruvian highlands that artist Jaime Miranda-Bambaren exhumed and re-birthed into this awesome eye-candy for us all 2 enjoy, thereby turning death into life, thus the tag 'Seeds' (they actually do look a bit like seeds now too, lol). A description i just found says: They are centennial arbors, planted in Viceregal times, razed by our degrading "modernity". By transforming such remains into "Seeds", Miranda affirms an ecological claim and a resurrectional act - "to transfigure those fields of sown death into almost breathing images of life". Xtra info- There's a Citi-bike rack right there, a big plus for those...
