Fort Hamilton Bowling Center — Attraction in New York

Stay from away from this place! Customer service is terrible. Lanes kept breaking down, and we were informed there was no bowling technician there so they couldn't fix the issue. We had 40 people there for a party so as you can imagine this was very frustrating and not acceptable.

Everyone could see the lanes were not working. Lanes weren't waxed, balls would come to a complete stop in the middle of the lane. Also, The reset bar would come down before the ball made it to the pins. The manager herself tried to bowl amd saw the problems first hand, and yet refused to figure it out. Was extremely rude, disrespectful and lazy. Barely greeted us, offered no assistance with any other part of the party, hid in the back most of the time.

Never been so disappointed and embarrassed to host a party like that. My son was crying on his birthday thanks to this place. So do yourself a favor, save the headache, and stay far away from this...

Manager at the bowling alley is very rude and unprofessional. Sent my guest list a month ago , no email back to let me know it was received. I went away for 3 weeks , when I came back . I asked for the manager and she wasn’t there Again . I ask the worker on site to know if they received my email. No one can’t tell me anything. She called the manager and text , no answer.( supposedly working from home) 2 days in a week). Mind you my kid birthday is less than 1 week away and I have guests coming from outside. Instead of apologizing and taking responsibility for her lack of communication. She pointed finger at me and made me feel that I was on the wrong when she is the one that is unprofessional. Even if you are working from home , it’s your duty to Answer calls and reply to work emails unless you are taking the work time to do your personal stuffs .

We held a birthday party for my son here. Complete disaster. We were suppose to have four lanes. The lanes malfunctioned and they said they couldn't fix them because the bowling tech wasn't in.Then they shut down the lanes that were working mid game because their supervisor told them to. We requested the lanes to be reopened which we had to fight for. By then the kids weren't interested in bowling. The workers were rude. We asked to speak to their supervisor, they said the supervisor didn't want to speak to us because it is was her day off. The staff then disappeared for the majority of the party. Complete chaos. Total unprofessionalism. Will never go here again and I highly advise against anyone...
