More than two decades of wait is finally over. Brand new tennis courts at John J Carty Park. I hope parks department will monitor these courts in summer time and don't let private coaches use these courts for making money without the permits. Noise from surrounding roads leading to Verrazano bridge is very loud while you play tennis. If you learn to ignore it then you can play for long hours. I wish park department monitor these courts after 5pm and stop people who are using courts as dog playground.
